Camden wrote:So, you're comfortable paying Deandre Ayton $30-million annually over four or five years, but not D'Angelo Russell? In this market where quality bigs can be had for approximately half of that while the emphasis league-wide continues to be placed on ball-handlers, shot creators, and perimeter shooters? That's... confusing. Or perhaps it's just personal at this point. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose.

And perhaps acquiring Ayton wouldn't require Russell to be traded, but if we're comparing the two... Give me the shot creator.

Ayton had a big year last year. He's going to get paid, and he should get way more than Russell. The most sought after position today are wings with length that can make shots. Neither Ayton or Russell fall in to that category.

SloMo!? How's he going to get any playing time behind KD?!

Seriously, SloMo's not great, but he's long, can play both ways, and has a few different offensive tools. At that price, I hope the second year is a team option though!

I work with a guy who has 252 Jordan rookie cards, most in excellent condition.

Yes seriously. I'm not even sure why he continues to work. But he said he will probably never sell them.

Anderson: High IQ, great passer, good handle, good size, meh shooter, meh rebounder; can play 1-4 on offense and defense, point-forward, and really good defender. I'm fine with it, but I sure didn't see it coming. Can self create and put pressure on the rim, adding to the Wolves' that can do that (along with Ant, Nowell)

After looking a bit closer at both guys Anderson brings a lot of the same things that Thad Young does and I thought adding Young on a shot term deal (ideally 1 year) would be a nice improvement to the PF spot.

I have problems letting things go...unless someone is willing to give me enough money for them. I haven't had anything like that though!
