I'd like to see them go after Al Horford and push Gorgui to the bench -

If we're talking about ideal things happening, this is it. I don't know how likely that is, though.

Edit: The most we could offer him is a four-year, $107-million deal. I know some on here would be hesitant to do that, but I'm pulling the trigger on that 10 times out of 10.

I've read Miami is going after him. Frankly other than weather we may have more to offer.

I think Minnesota's more attractive than Miami now with the hiring of Thibodeau, especially if Al considers winning later in his career. That's when our youth will be in their prime.

Al Horford and Luol Deng.

If you could add just one of these two guys who would it be and why?

Well, this isn't really fair to Deng, who is a fine player and also fits here, but I'm throwing all my money at the All-Star player at a position of need in the starting lineup. Horford would be a dynamic acquisition. It's hard to call a $107-million player a safe bet, but Horford would be worth every penny as far as I'm concerned.

I go Horford too. We need some guys who play big. Many of our bigs play small right now. We need some toughness down low. Horford is a perfect fit to our needs. I just want a big who can hold their position. Towns will eventually have no problem in that area, but with Pek all but a shell of a man, we need someone strong. Horford although not physically intimidating to look at, plays tough. Deng is another undersized 4. We got that in Belly and Dieng plays small. Horford is too perfect of a fit not to be our top priority.

Just put a poll up on this one. There are actually a number of good options for us - options that otherwise would not be available if not for the young nucleus and Thibs being in place.

It's a no brainier the with al horford being the guy. He fills out biggest need and is the better player.
