I'll continue to say it: they're not tanking. They're showing you who they are. Believe what you're seeing.
If the plan was to implement something that makes the team look like losers, that plan has been in place here for decades.

Forfeiting a game is brilliant compared to this.
If and when they fire Saunders, Vanterpol might have to take the job by default (and that's if he wants to risk his reputation) because who from the outside looks at this team, this roster, this situation and this culture and says "I could work wonders with this team?" If anything this situation looks less attractive than it ever has.

I know you're right, Wolf. But I still prefer to believe we're tanking. :). And seriously, if this is who we are, then we should be tanking for the best possible draft position and dealing Covington by the deadline for another first round pick.

The system seems to be developing really well.

It has to be. I was good with saunders as coach but he blew this game. No other way around it. This loss in on saunders. I was not happy that he took out the starters when we it was clear the kings were still competing. It smacks of arrogance and cluelessness. That sparks the kings starters to make a run and the 3rd stringers didnt know what to do. You take out your starters only when the losing team do it first or when you are up 30 with 2mins left. Amateur job by saunders and he wasted what was the most conplete game by wiggins. Im too mad to even find this funny.

Quality tank job right there. Especially when it's the Kings when this loss could be a draft spot! Really best case scenario.
