One could easily make an argument that he'd be Minnesota's third best player so far this season if you simply translated those numbers over. He's been a key component as to why the Phoenix Suns are competitive this season. Saric is a guy that I would have liked to see play in this new system that seems to be a bit more simplified and free-flowing. His game suits that style and I think we would have seen his broad skill set come alive.
Trading Saric last summer was far from a franchise-crushing move, especially with how early Jarrett Culver is in his development, but he's definitely someone that would have been useful if he was here.
It seems the media consensus on Dario was that he didnt want to be here. I really wanted him to stay and was down on the trade, but when i heard that i was a bit better with him being gone.
I still miss Bjelly, especially in this offense. He has the size of a traditional PF with the handles, passing and shooting of a well rounded wing. Saric isn't much different in this regard I guess.
If the front office is serious about contending at some point and think they have a path to get there, they need to reconcile their current lineup phiosophy with the reality of the top teams in the league. The Lakers, Sixers, and Bucks are freakin' massive.

Bjelly
Tolliver
Saric
All 3 of those pfs fit in our new system.
Heh, no doubt. The thing about Bjelly though is he really was a pretty damn big dude. Tolliver is a small-ish PF.
Doris Burke hitting a new low tonight. If I was that bad at my job I'd be waiting in line for government cheese. And yes, I'm trolling here because I know many like the job she does.

That "game" was on last night while I was at Chili's. At one point I said To my friends "I don't know why I even keep Looking at this game it's been over since the first half." Luka and Porzingis are just large long basketball players for their skill levels. Luka looks to be in good shape.

Golden State has 30 nationally televised games this season. Almost all of them are gonna be terrible and one-sided.
That Warriors team is terrible. We saw the same thing with the LA Lakers a couple years ago.
Meanwhile, Minnesota + Atlanta + Sacramento + Phoenix combine for a whopping 5 national games, with Atlanta leading the charge (2 TNT games).
[Note: To be honest, I prefer Jim Peterson anyway... ]
I guess I always look for and embrace turmoil in all the more talented teams, its an equalizer that doesn't get enough play. Examples: Labron killing the rest of his team's spirit last year, D Green pushing out KD, Kyrie sinking Bos entire season.
This year it looks like:
Kyrie at it again, I have an odd feeling he may not be there next year when KD is ready to roll
Butler doing some really blatant shellfish shit during interviews
Mello is not a disruption yet, but he was really horrible in Por - that has got to mess with the team's chemistry a bit once they end up dumping him - he has never played winning team BB, I dont think he ever will and he will revert back to "I am taking all the mid-range shots I can" Mello soon enough.
