I checked out Bet.us and found how to place a seasonal bet. Its -115 to bet the Wolves win more than 42 games and its -115 to bet the Wolves win less than 42 games. It seems the bookie would expect to make around 25% since you pay 115 to win 100 which is 15% and then you lose if its actually 42. Giving 42 wins a 10% probability of occurring, then its more like a 25% cut. Lucrative business for the bookies. I notice some teams have an over/under based on half games which reduces the bookie's cut down to 15% as the bookmaker isn't able to win on a push bet and If I recall correctly the line used to be 41 1/2. Anyone finding a better deal than this?

If you go to Bet.us and make a bet that the Wolves will win more than 42 games, you give them $115 and if the Wolves exceed 42 games, you will get your $115 back plus another $100 for winning. You can also go to Bovada website and make a similar bet. They have a slightly different bet as their under/over for wins is 40.5 rather than 42 at Bet.US. This sounds like a better bet right? Not necessarily because there the odds are worse. You have to bet $150 to make $100. It seems there is a lot of money coming in betting on the Wolves to win at least 41 games so the odds are less favorable.

Hell, my 43 looks delusional at this point and here I thought I was being a bit conservative!

The good news is a few of the lower WC teams lost tonight and other than NO they haven't been much better than us and of course Memphis has Conely injured. The Lakers will be without Nick Young and he has been really effective for them so far so it could be a loss for them although it gives Ingram an opportunity to take over that spot.
