Good for Lowry. Weren't there some huge Lowry fans on the ESPN board that really wanted him in that draft? I'd actually like to hear them say I told you so. Funny he turned out to be a much better player than his buddy Foye. Lol
I was one. That pick made me hate McHale completely (granted I really disliked him after the Jaric trade). Foye wasn't even the best player on his team, which seemed obvious to me at the time. And McHale let the whole league know he wanted Foye, which took away any potential leverage we had that draft. Now I am getting pissed just thinking about it again.

Mav for life, Dirk agree to resign. Stein is reporting something like 3/$30M

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
Yahoo Sources: As Carmelo Anthony completes recruiting visits, he wants to make pitch to Pau Gasol on New York. yhoo.it/1qUifDT

Do you know the team that drafted him and who they received from Dallas in the trade?

Without looking I'm pretty sure the Bucks drafted him I can't remember what they got back. Tim Thomas?
Also awesome for Dirk and the Mavs. On thing that's saving the NBA for me is these guys taking less money. Why does Dallas have to be in the WC though? Lol

Good guess Monster. You have the right team but not the player. Whatever happened to Thomas? He had a quick rise and fall as a player.

I knew I would be mad when someone named the right player. I laugh with my friend that's a Bucks fan about this trade even though it brings up bad memories. Tractor Traylor makes it hard not to chuckle. lol
Side note: Even if Love leaves for nothing that Mayo Love trade still looks like a huge fleecing.
