Yes, he would have been an option if he was signed to start here. Obviously, throwing two lottery picks for Dilly didn't help. Had we not been so eager to sign Old Man Conley (Wolves bid against themselves, as TC is butt dumb, as no team was going to pay so much for a guy Conley's age).

You couldn't possibly have gone into free agency with no Conley and BANKING on Jones who to a man we all thought at least was gonna get MLE money, to settle for a 1 year vet minimum (again, 1 year because there's no bird rights, so God forbid he plays well, now you have no way to keep him and no way to replace him.

Now would this team need Conley as much if they had an actual facilitator? No, but my fear was always that they didn't value it that much and was just gonna rely on Ant turning into mini Luka, which was never gonna happen.
We could have waited on Conley if we wanted. Nobody was going to pay him more. But either way, offering Tyus the starting gig probably would have gotten him here. I never wanted to let Tyus go. He was better than that trash DLO who we burned a nice lottery pick for.
not with his caphold (and considering they were gonna be over the 2nd apron regardless, moot point).

There was no long term scenario with Jones at all given the financial situation and once Jones couldn't be had at the deadline, it was a dream deferred. That's the reality of the situation.

Memphis beat Golden State 144 to 93. Rudy's -37 not looking so bad now! And guess who play next? I'll be at that game in person as part of my annual trek to Minnesota for the holidays!

Wish he would get minutes in games that we have no energy like tonight
Yeah, with NAZ and DDV sucking, at some point it makes sense to PIVOT to Minott…

Does KG realize how bad Tyus has been this year. Like he has been no better than Conley

Normally these things work themselves out for guys just outside of the top 8 or 9 players given the injuries of a typical NBA team but we have been remarkably healthy this year.

Just totally dumbass planning by TC. I said that the Rudy trade was a disaster when it happened and it put is in cap hell and draft hell and it made TC then compound this disaster trade with a second disaster trade in giving up KAT for garbage. I know a lot of folks think TC can do no wrong but he's a fukkin dumbass and will leave this franchise in a mess as we really have no realistic way to improve especially as Gobert and Conley decline.

The Wolves saw Gobert over the summer and just didn't think it applied to anything they had going forward.

KAT = 32 points / 20 rebounds / 6 assists

Rudy = 3 points / 4 rebounds / 0 assists

That was the main reason we got pummelled tonight.
