Why did ant dribble out the clock. It's a 9 point game. A three and a reggie miller couple steals and it's a tie. Unlikely but why would you dribble it out?

Was watching VGK vs Wild (Go Knights)… changed it after 1st period. My recording of the game for some reason didn’t start from the beginning so I caught the game with a few minutes left in the 3rd.

The Lakers were there to be had but this team was too stupid and sloppy to take it and finish the comeback.

How the fuck does Luka get away with that much talking and not get a tech? Meanwhile Edward’s looks at these dudes and gets tee’s up?. I get it it’s the playoffs these guys will get a bigger leash but that was ridiculous. The fat ass can’t go a single play where he doesn’t cry about something.

Can we not go down double digits to start the game seemingly every game? That's something I'd like to see.

Wolves lowest effective field goal percentage since opening night loss to Raptors in 2023.

Julius had a really good game and was up for the challenge. Wolves holding Lakers to 94.5 ppg so far. These are are good things to take into game 3.

Turns out when Mike, Donte, Naw, Naz, and Jaden all have really bad or awful games, it's gonna be tough to win a playoff game. By comparison Ant looked fine, but I think he didn't have a consistent enough impact, just kinda putting his work in spurts. Appreciate Randle's toughness in games like this - this goes down as a demoralizing 20-30 point beatdown without him grinding the whole game.

Gobert has been so bad on offense - I feel like his screens haven't been effective and he's not able to impact the offensive glass enough. I think his D is fine and without looking at the numbers, when they try and target him on the perimeter it doesn't seem like it's been very effective even if Luka hits the occasional step back 28 footer.

He's gone back to having paddle-hands, as if he has no individual fingers and opposable thumbs, but just two wooden planks he can use to slap at the ball and then when he does secure it, it is easily poked out or just slips from his grasp. So frustrating to watch.

Only down 9 in a game where we played one of our worst games of the season...room for some optimism there.

One of our worst offensive games of the season for sure, but our defensive strategy has largely held up over two games on their home floor. I really thought we'd have to out-offense them to win, but so far our defense has held them under 100 points both games. I don't see any reason to change what we're doing on that end.

I'm going to give the Lakers some credit for really upping their defensive intensity. This wasn't about the Wolves missing a bunch of open shots. The Lakers legit took it to us on that end and challenged everything, but I just question whether they have it in them to keep it up as the series goes on.

This is basically where I am at after game 2.

It's just 2 games and game 1 was a mixed bag because of turnovers but Randle is making him a case for himself as a worthwhile guy in the playoffs and that could translate to some money. I think he can be a key to this series. Some of those Lakers players simply can't guard him one on one.
