Did we really run a play for a 2 pointer in a 6 point game with 5 seconds left. How absolutely stupid was that

And this is where Julius falls short. At some point you can't just keep hitting your head against a brick wall in the paint. We missed Ant tonight.
He definitely was out of his comfort zone. He had his guy beat many times but kept hesitating to pull the trigger. Houston plays a similar pinch, poke, grab, swipe and scratch that OKC plays with. When Julius isnt decisive, that will get him in trouble.

When you're critical of Bones tonight, remember your role players generally fare better at home. He will bounce back.

Weird game.
Julius scored a lot but had 5 turnovers to 4 assists and a team worst -11, thought his defense was terrible.
Rudy did great on defense but the FTs were terrible.
Jaden had moments but foul trouble ruined his rhythm and he struggled with his shot.
Terrible bones game
So many missed FTs.

They defended the Naz 3 well. Naz just needs to let it fly and then a selfish play by Randle

Yeah, just felt like we went to him too often and then he started forcing things that just weren't there.
Needed something - anything! - from the Bones/Clark/Beringer trio. Unfortunately those guys hardly made a peep in terms of impacting the game and looked pretty weak out there.
We need to throw that Milwuakee game out, as the kind of pathetic effort and connection we saw from the Bucks will be the furthest thing from playoff basketball. Keep working the phones Tim Connelly!

Julius with one of his no effort defensive games.
And I still don’t understand why this teams fan base and commentators are so high on Bones Hyland. When his shot isn’t falling (which is more often than not) he offers little else.
On to tomorrow night vs the Spurs.

Because he is a off the bench role player making the minimum who has scored and played the PG position in his role at a high level this year

I think we're so starved for point guard play that Bones looks good in comparison. He was really good against Milwaukee, and does find a way to be a positive when his shot doesn't drop most games. Not tonight though, Sheppard cooked him.
