This team has grit
We fit well together
For the first game with all of the gang together
Mighty impressive
No one thrived offensively outside of 4Q KAT
Team win
It's a shame we aren't assured of watching this squad for a full season
TC work your magic this off season
I'm ready to run it back

But we have like 4 threads to blow it up lol :)

These fuckers are going to make me spend money to go see them play the lakers Friday

I'll be there. First time seeing lebron in person

I'll be there too. I may not be talking much to my Little (in the Big Brother program) cuz he's a big Lebron fan, but I'll be cheering louder than him!

Was anyone more important to this win than Naz with 23 points, 6 boards and only 1 turnover?

It's huge for him to be able to play PF next to Kat and Gobert. Him playing PF his whole career have had terrible results. Last 2 games it has been really effective (defensively first half tonight was bad but offensively it was good)

Yeah, the guy tries so hard on defense, but his results are spotty. But he was as great on offense tonight as Rudy was on defense. Great game for Naz!

I wasn't sure until recently, but I'm now convinced that PF is his natural and best position. He's not a good defender, but I think he can develop into a decent defender at the PF position. Offensively, he's incredibly skilled with the ball skills of a SF. I'd like to see that his three-point shot become consistent.

Finch takes a mini shot at Dlo post game. From Chad Hartman

" When Finch is rightfully praising the defense post game and says sometimes earlier in the year we had to hide guys defensively and now we don't, Hello DLo"

I'm out of town, so I didn't see the post game. But Chad's tweet didn't have the quotation marks you have, kek. I'd like to hear from someone who watched the post gamer, but I suspect Finchie only said the part about not having to hide anyone defensively anymore, and Chad added the "Hello DLo". I think Finchie is too smart to provide bulletin board material 5 days before we face the guy.

We all know what he meant though...how different a defense looks when you have five guys playing cohesive D.

I would like to see Finch be a bit smarter using McDaniels as the point defender, especially at the start of games. As brilliant as he is at that role he's not quick enough to guard the Currys and Pooles of this league. Fighting over screens picking up cheap fouls. Better off having Edwards or Conley on them. Early foul trouble took McDaniel's out early tonight and he never recovered. Yes he made some stupid fouls, but why put him on Curry?

Overall an important win, and I was certain we would lose after giving up the lead in the 3rd. Naz was brilliant offensively and looks better on D playing next to KAT or Gobert.

I quoted chads tweet above. Here is the exact finch quote, this is me quoting it.

"Earlier in the season we couldn't get to the matchups we wanted because we sometimes had guys we couldn't put on the ball. Now we have a multitude of guys we can put on the ball. And when you have multiple guys who can guard the ball you can move guys around and sometimes you have to hide players but we really don't have that anymore and now we have guys to flip matchups around, we feel we can take advantage of matchups at times and have a multitude of guys who can guard like you know high leverage players"

I might be off a word or two but that was the quote post game

What a great gritty defensive win, this year has been awesome and this win was so fun.

I have to say if we dont sign Naz Im going to be really disappointed. He may be the only legit success story in terms of Timberwolves player development in the history of the franchise. I have such joy seeing him succeed. To see him go to another team and build on his development would really hurt.
