And yet it was this exact shot type that put Minnesota within one with 3:33 left to play. It's an odd thing to complain about tonight. Hate when he misses, love when he makes. That's how the league goes.
And the second one he missed when he was "feeling it".
D-Lo missed two threes late in the fourth quarter. The first was a wide open catch-and-shoot three after a KAT offensive rebound, and the second was a dribble-hand-off three going left in the same vicinity that he had just made one minutes prior. Both were decent looks.
I honestly feel like you're bitching about nothing out of frustration from the team's loss, and D-Lo is the easy person to point the finger at for whatever reason. Fine. Seems especially odd tonight, but fine.
I wasnt "bitching" until you took offense to me correctly pointing out that our PG didnt get our top scorer good shots when the game was finally close. After I stated that to someone else you when full bitch for Dlo. I believe in a natural hierarchy in basketball. Dlo is and should always be the 3rd option on this team. A good PG follows that hierarchy, a great PG encourages it and enhances it. KAT was off, when the game was close it should have been all Ant. Anyone but you and Dlo would probably agree. When worse players call their own number its bad basketball. When its your PG it can become a team problem.
You're still here bitching, and doing so mistakenly the entire way. How is it that Minnesota's point guard was able to effectively create shots for Rudy Gobert, Karl-Anthony Towns, and himself in the fourth quarter -- accounting for 13 of Minnesota's 25 points in the quarter and evaporating most of Charlotte's 12-point lead along the way -- and you're here complaining that Anthony Edwards didn't get enough opportunities while simultaneously ignoring the fact that he shot as many times as any other Wolves player in the frame? You're just flat out wrong on this one, doper.
There are many things to take issue with in tonight's game -- mainly in the third quarter -- but this ain't it.

Right Cam. Lets all praise Dlo for bringing us within 1. Bad PG play in crunch time was a factor in this game and has been an issue all year. Dlo opted for him and KAT when the game got close which is embedded in all the shots you listed. Ant should have twice the shots of anyone when KAT is this bad. Its simple, Dlo is the third wheel and should act like it. Of course its not that big of a deal, which is why Dlo should stop being such a bitch and defer to Ant all the time since hes a far superior player.

Uh huh... Well, there's not much else to discuss here any further. It's evident we watched very different games while relying on very different data. Oh, well. On to the next game. I hope Anthony Edwards takes 30 shots. Surely, that will be enough for a Wolves victory.
- I stopped watching later in the 3rd quarter. I was bored. Was it just me in a certain kind of mood? Maybe. But consider... I've been a Timberwolves fan for 33 years. I've seen A LOT of meh to bad to embarrassing performances. And I rarely turn a game off when its outcome is in doubt (even if I have a sneaky premonition about this one).
- Part of the problem is DEFINITELY that Kelly Oubre was torching the Timberwolves. He's a shitty basketball player. He is an even shittier basketball player when playing on or against good teams. He's simply a volume scorer (sometimes) on bad teams. Kelly Oubre won't beat teams... unless those teams let Kelly Oubre beat them.
- Oubre has 20+ points in 5 of the past 7 meetings vs. Minnesota.
- The only player I might like to watch play hoops less than Kelly Oubre is the infamous Rashad McCants. Damn Kelly Oubre... and damn the Wolves for giving such a mediocre performance that Kelly Oubre and a bad (before being depleted) Hornets team beat them.
- Now you guys can continue to argue with Camden about D'Angelo Russell. Good gawd. I feel like the board would be better if nobody was allowed to bring up Russell to Camden and he wasn't allowed to mention his name either. Those discussion might be more unsettling than watching your favorite team get carved up by Kelly Oubre.
Regardless of what happened tonight, the bottom line is that DLO, Ant, and Nowell have got to make more of their shots, defend better, and make better decisions. I put 85% of our mediocre start on those three collectively. Our backcourt gets regularly outplayed unless Jordan McLaughlin is in the game for some reason. That's absurd!

Abe, wouldn't it be more productive or enlightening [for the board] to actually read through the discussion and either comment towards it -- agree or disagree -- or make no comment whatsoever? What exactly does this type of passive aggressive comment do besides present me as the one in the wrong without expressing why, specifically? Surely, you could articulate one way or the other, or simply not at all.

Exactly. These three all need to be a lot better. My thing is that only one of these guys is a max player right now. This team is so frustrating because it has so much talent at center and forward, but the guard play just sucks. Dlo should be playing Nowells role this year (Nowell shouldn't be in the rotation) and TC should have acquired a real Point guard this offseason instead of Gobert. Functional bigs are so easy to find, but we had to pay 40 mil to find one to compliment Kat. I don't know how we'll be able to find a real PG when we're paying supermax to two centers and a regular max to Ant. Dlo isn't the answer and he needs to expire. No draft picks, so I'm thinking we'll need to trade either Kat or Rudy for a real starting PG this offseason. I'm so frustrated that this guy came in and said he wasn't gonna screw it up, but then that's exactly what he did. Once the injuries start to even out, this team isn't sniffing 40 wins... I hope you all realize that by now lol

We don't need a good PG. Look at what JMac has done. We just need a PG who isn't trash. One that can simply defend adequately, pass decent and hit the open 3. Most importantly plays hard.
