Agree with Wild, I'd say 95% chance he ends up with SacTwon for a deal centered around Fox, possibly Sac's other PGs but likely Fox.
Cam's point is understood, the player can put pressure on the team but No way Morey trades him for a deal with Dlo was the headliner.

Sacramento's probably trying to pair Ben Simmons
with De'Aaron Fox -- not replace him, right? Their situation is similar to Minnesota's in trying to assemble star talent in return for other assets. I don't see Fox or D'Angelo Russell going anywhere. I also don't see Simmons' value returning to what it was months ago. That situation is a tick below the James Harden and Houston situation that Daryl Morey was just in a year ago.

Not doubt that Sacramento is probably TRYING to pair Simmons with Fox. But I can see Sacramento eventually agreeing to deal Fox for Simmons. The Kings are in a tought spot right now. Their situation is similar to Minnesota's but not identical. Sacramento has one bona fide all-star on their team and that's Fox. Like KAT, he's a one-way all-star. They have some very good players in Hield and Holmes around him, and a very good prospect in Haliburton, but that's about it. In contrast, the Wolves have their all-star, KAT, and something close to Hield in Beasley, but also have a one-time all-star in DLO and a potential superstar in Edwards. Then there's McDaniels who has huge upside. My point is that the Kings have a greater need than the Wolves for making a major deal this off-season and that's why I could see them relenting and ultimately agreeing to swap Fox for Simmons. They might even be able to get another asset from Philly. If not Fox, I could see the Kings giving up Hield, Haliburton and a number of future picks, which would be better than they'd get from the Wolves if DLO, Ant, KAT and McDaniels are off the table.
I just don't see the urgency for the Wolves to get Simmons, even though I see the merit in pursuing him. I like the Wolves' talent going into next season. While I think we gave up too much for DLO, I'm fully aware of his talent and we got a glimpse of how well he can play with KAT when healthy at the close of last season. Edwards is incredibly talented and looks like a guy who's going to tap into his immense talent. I expect Beasley to be on the court and not in jail and McDaniels will only get better. The Beverley addition shouldn't be underestimated and Prince is a really good 3-po[int shooter who knows how to play. I just don't see the Kings getting much better with their current roster. So I think they really need the shake things up before the season starts. That's why I think they'll be willing to give up a lot to pair Simmons with Fox (definitely their first choice), but ultimately willing to give up Fox. I see Fox as a perfect fit with Embiid and the current Sixers roster. That's why I could see Morey giving up another asset to get Fox in a Simmons swap - assuming Morey's ego doesn't get in the way of his judgment.

I think it could go either way with Sac, a deal centered around Fox or Halliburton and/or Mitchell.

Here's my thinking. If De'Aaron Fox had been made available in these trade talks at any point, we'd probably know by now. That would be a big piece of information that would not go quietly with as many sources and reporters as there are. The fact that Ben Simmons is not returning to the Sixers in any capacity means that his trade value for Philadelphia only goes down from here -- not up. Teams do not increase their offers significantly once unhappy players start forcing their teams to move them. Philadelphia's best hope is that something unusual happens with Damian Lillard or Bradley Beal before the season that makes them want out of their current situations, OR the Sixers will deal Simmons for much less than a Fox or a D'Angelo Russell. Need I remind everyone here that James Harden was traded for a package where the best player in return was Caris LeVert. LeVert is a fine young player, but not nearly as valuable as Fox is right now. It's just not happening from my perspective. These trade offers are not going to be that good for Simmons despite the level of player he is.

Yep. That's the way I see it.

Patrick Beverley just retweeted a post that said if you add Ben Simmons to a team that has Karl-Anthony Towns, D'Angelo Russell, and Anthony Edwards, then you have a contender. He said "Facts." Obviously, Beverley isn't pulling the strings, but it's interesting that he would tweet this considering I'd have to think that he would be involved for salary matching purposes... Or perhaps not? Maybe the idea is to trade Malik Beasley and Taurean Prince plus draft capital. In that case, Beverley would be part of that new-look Wolves team.

- Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic confirms on Dan Barreiro that Ben Simmons is open to being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves to play with his friends Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell -- along with fellow Klutch Sports client Anthony Edwards.

Good points Cam, but if Simmons goes for a deal with Wolves for picks and J. McDaniels as the best player. You better believe Sac jumps in and they can offer a better package.
And if Rosas wouldn't include Dlo in a deal for Simmons we are in trouble with him leading our team, uffdha

Cam either way I agree with your main point. Philly's leverage is significantly diminished, and will likely have to accept less the full value.
