Shooting is just one issue. They just have nothing resembling an offensive game right now.

Culver is starting to look like dunn.

Not saying it is right, but I am guessing they thought like I did, that Culver shot really well his freshman year when he was an off ball shooter and mostly a catch an shoot player and thought that could translate to the NBA level. Also in theory Culver could of been a very solid 2nd ball handler and we still desperately need them. Still super early in his career and not even close to writing him off.

Okogie is by far the best player so far drafted in that range of picks.

It was the right play, bad execution. Bad pass is all.

Eh, protect the ball. It was a crucial possession.

20 seconds left, down 5. Had to score fast, not worry about dribbling up the court slowly.

I get it. Try to get a quick score in transition to extend the game. I just favor ball security a little more in that instance. It's not an easy pass to make and the risk is relatively high.

Cov was a monster on defense that 4th. How does ryan see that and think that cov is better defending in the paint.

Cov was playing PF most of the 4th. Teague, Okogie, Wiggins, Cov, Kat was our lineup for the last 6 minutes

Thats because the clipps were also small. Cov was spending most of his time chasing wings.

Covington was abused any time he got matched on Harrell. That's just too tall of a task for him, understandably.

I liked bell out there. He brings alot of energy and is quick enough that he won't get embarrased on switches.

Id try okogie, wiggs, cov, bell, and kat to start. Culver just isn't ready for important minutes yet, and teague is really starting to find his groove off the bench.

Jon K: Both KAT and Saunders didn't play the moral victory card after this one. Saunders lamented how well they can play "when they follow the system."

I can't even begin to explain how tired of hearing about this "system" that's supposedly in place. It's a 'five out' scheme with little off-ball movement that's entirely dependent on dribble penetration and perimeter shooting for a roster that is absent players capable of either skill or ability. The way in which this team plays does not match the strengths of the players that makeup the roster and it's incredibly frustrating.
