Dlo out vs Thunder part 2
Re: Dlo out vs Thunder part 2
Naz just became my favorite player on the squad. You can tell how much he wanted that win when he was on the floor after the buzzer.

It turns out giving up 83 points in the first half is NOT a winning strategy... Welp. Now we know.

That sucks to climb back after being down and to loose by just two. Dang!
Re: Dlo out vs Thunder part 2
The positive take-aways from tonight's game are Edwards, McDaniels, Nowell and Naz. Those are four talented young players who will only get better. Those four plus Vando and KAT are the guys you move forward with. Add DLO to the list because I don't see any realistic deal that moves him. The Wolves should be shopping Culver, Okogie and Ricky aggressively.

That's the kind of competitiveness we haven't seen enough of on this team -- players who can't stand to loose, give everything they have to win and are despondent if they fall short.

I didn't watch the first half - thankfully. Could someone tell me why we were so bad defensively in the first half? Are players particularly bad in that first half?

I gotta agree, Lip. I would have loved to see our first 2-game win streak, but somehow this loss feels better than last night's win. Thunder gets back their two star guards but sit Horford, and we sit our two max players plus our lottery pick from last year. And still only a missed layup at the buzzer by our best player tonight keeps us from going to overtime. If last night felt like a pyrrhic victory, tonight was more like a moral victory, I'll take a 1-1 split in OkC with KAT out.

I was thinking the same thing, FNG. Strangely, I also feel better about tonight's loss than last night's win.

SAG is a great example of trading a star player, while getting a great return.

Early 5-6 turnovers that lead to 15 points
Came out flat so Saunders switch to zone and never came out of it and thunder kept making 3 after 3.
It was also thought it was Vando worst stretch in his nba career.
