It seems like Okogie is a Q score play his butt off type player which we can absolutely use. As for shooting 82% FT and certainly wasn't a bad shooter from 3. They could end up with a shooter in the 2nd round also.

We're going to have to shore up our 3-point shooting via free agency. We should be able to get someone good in that area with the MLE or maybe even with the biennial exception or vet minimum.

...has the physical tools and is a "do shit" player, high motor. Love that stuff. Still, he absolutely can't be more than our 4th or 5th wing in the rotation next season. Need to get a very solid vet shooter that is average defensively to replace Crawford as our 3rd wing.

Weve been saying that for years. Hope this year is the year.

Interesting stats on the catch and shoot nunbers.

http://stats.nba.com/articles/2018-nba-draft-profile-josh-okogie/

Has made strides as a jump shooter over the last couple of seasons, but still has plenty of room to grow. 25% of his shots in the half court were catch and shoot jump shots which he converted for a terrific 1.339 points per catch and shoot attempt [93rd percentile] and another 31% came on pull-up jumpers which he scored only 0.740 points per pull-up jump shot [42nd percentile]. Has promise as a floor spacer. Shoots the ball with a fairly fluid and reliable release, but not particularly quick when given time and space. Flashes intriguing scoring potential when his shot is falling.

With guys like wiggs, kat, patton, and now okogie, i feel we should be pushing the tempo abd publishing teams in transition to make up for yhe lack of shooting. Too bad thibs and teague think otherwise.

I was thinking the same thing world. When are we ever going to prioritize shooting?
