Sam seriously has to just reward those who play well and don't play those who don't. Payne stinks but he played well tonight in limited minutes. Give him a bit more rope in situations like that. Bazz played very well. Reward him next time with more PT even if it comes at Wiggins' expense.

Might as well have Rick Adelman coach via satellite if this is gonna be the usual

Sam's rotation is really strange. Hopefully he's just feeling everybody out. But it think sooner rather than later he should get his shit together.

So, that's our first blow out. But nobody has hit over 50% against our defense. Making more shots could have made it interesting. All I can say is enjoy the process of getting better. And the process includes bumps in the road.

Time to change up the starting 5 and rotations. Put bazz in the starting 5 for prince. He will help on the boards and he plays physical, thats exactly what we need of the starters.

Get miller into the rotation.Go small with Miller/lavine/kmart and forced the other team to match up with us with their 2nd unit. Heck dallas plays 4 pg in their rotation in dwill/felton/barea/harris with all getting decent minutes. Teams tend to go smaller witht heir 2nd unit anyway. Just let miller run the team andlet him get lavine and martin going.

Kg cant play anymore. He is only good for spot minutes and you can't even count on him to be productive for 20mins a game. He still plays d but rebounding and especially the offense suffers when he is in there. Bjelica is hit or miss so far and dieng is a mess and payne cant play.

We NEED pek healthy this season. He fills a big hole for us even if you play him 15-20mins a night. He pushes people around and helps on the boards and scores inside. Kg/bjelica/payne is not good enough for 48mins at pf.

Whatever. Can't wait until Jeff Van Gundy (or someone similarly qualified) comes in and cleans house. Worst coaching staff in the league and it's not close and Sam Mitchell should be let go immediately. He's not helping anyone here.

Bazz needs/deserves 30 minutes per game. This guy produces every time he's on the court and it cannot be ignored any longer. Start him with Rubio, Wiggins and Towns and develop THAT core moving forward. Prince needs to be moved to the bench. How many blown layups and missed funky jumpers do we need to see?

Weird to see Miller come in with four minutes left to go in garbage time. It should be flip-flopped with him and LaVine. Miller should see 15 minutes of meaningful minutes off the bench every night. He can't play defense to save his life, but it doesn't really matter as he can still operate and control the offense. LaVine running the show does absolutely nothing for the development of the other guys. Really, all that happens is he dribbles the ball up the floor only to give it to Martin, who then plays iso basketball because he's not playing with a PG that can set him up to score.

PS: KG's not the impact player/mentor you all make him out to be at this point. Only played 11 minutes tonight, and what little minutes he did play were terrible. Got beat by Bosh routinely and badly missed a bunny right at the rim.

That's a positive way to spin it and a legitimate observation. But go back and look at your wins prediction. This is a setback. So your perspective has conveniently changed to "enjoying the process" now?

Oh yeah, it's a klunker. But that doesn't mean there wasn't going to be a "process". I am sure we will have plenty of "flippers" upcoming!

BTW, LST, you are fired in the GDT department! ;-)

I saw him get burned by Bosh once, and yeah, the missed bunny. But otherwise I thought he was fine.

We knew going in that if you start Rubio-KG-Prince, you are putting an awful lot of pressure on Wiggins and Towns to score. One can either look at that positively (for development) or negative (they'll have plenty of off nights given their age/experience level). But defensively I think the first unit is doing its job of "keeping us in games", so I'm not totally blowing a gasket over the starting 5 yet.
