It really doesn't look like that big of a difference. How much would Steph's offense offset Rubio's defense?

The only big positive I see is closing out games, and I am not sure that is really Curry's specialty either.

I remember Curry's injury problems (ankles). That's why I still believe we would have had our lottery picks the years after where we could have drafted Cousins or George.

A team with Curry, DeRozan, Cousins (I can't say that George was my guy; Boogie was who I wanted) and Love is contending for a championship (at the least WCF).

Curry
DeRozan
Doesn't Matter
Love
Cousins

That's why it's imperative that this next rebuild is done correctly. Attempt #90. Ugh.

That team sucks on paper. No one could get a stop when they need it on that lineup.

Oh, yeah. Terrible. I'm so glad we don't have four All-Star players in one lineup. What was I thinking.

Coulda woulda shoulda, these exercises in who the wolves could have had are ridiculous especially when you try to extrapolate them out passed one correct pick. Pick one right and you've just nudged yourself out of position for the next. It's stupid and we're smarter than to think there wouldn't be any ripple effect. Hell if the lottery balls held true you're not even looking at Cousin or George, Evan Turner would have been a lock at #2 for the wolves.

I see three there, and ultimately the team needs to DEFEND at some point. That lineup doesn't do that. There has to be a balance. Other

Except do you really think a rookie Curry and rookie DeRozan makes the 2009 Wolves a better team to the point where they're out of range for Cousins/George? Really? Curry was good, but not franchise-changing as a rookie. DeRozan didn't do a damn thing his rookie year. Keep in mind that 2009 Wolves team was terrible and won only 15 games. Rambis was the coach. You're kidding me if you think two rookies were going to make that team fall out of the high lottery. Cousins/George was still VERY doable.

No I said it may push them out or if the lottery held true they'd be picking 2nd and still not picking Cousins or George. Most likely Turner. Consensus #2 just like our favorite Derrick Williams.
