To be fair, I hope my boss doesn't hold me responsible for my friend flaking at the last minute.

Great. Now Khans has me worried...

Nice find Tim. I always thought Sam had a good feel for the kids.

I heard most of what Sam said on that video a bunch of times already. Super talent play him at the SG, how to coach him etc... something new was Sam bringing up the "We beat you when we played you" thing. It pretty clear good and bad Sam is REALLY competitive and it interesting he went off on this tangent...Sam is pretty good for tangents. lol i'll Also mention that Sam has said Reddish could really break out after his experience at Duke where he was 3rd banana etc. He also has said Zion is a terrific kid better person than a basketball player. To some extent I take Sam's comments with a grain of salt but he does know some of these guys pretty well since he has worked with them.

He couldn't successfully recruit his best friend to play basketball with him. Maybe getting rid of KAT isn't gonna be the worst thing we could do down the line.

So when you read that you see me saying we need to trade Towns? You don't see any nuance in that statement at all? Just hardline I'm saying trade Towns?

I can't say I disagree with you at all there. The way he was hinting and everything... you just don't do that crap unless you are 100% sure it's a done deal and that things are agreed to. Either way, your comment doesn't say that he should take a lot of blame, just more than zero blame. He spent a bunch of time with his apparent best friend and it all fell through.

Lord knows i wasn't the biggest Sam supporter, but he knows the player as well as anyone. I think he did a great job of putting the Butler dynamic with the Wolves in perspective. He also is spot on when talking about Wig being a 2. A good coach would post him up against other 2's, and he can certainly guard 2's as well. Wig's reputation around the league is deserved, but I'm glad to see some balance in the discussion.

So a player should be blamed for failing to recruit and that would also be grounds for trading away a player. Khans will try to defend that comment to death with you and no sense to further argue with him on a stupid comment he made.

I've rarely come across someone who will defend his point as relentlessly as Khans. He would even give Cam a run for his money in not coming off a position. Well, maybe that's taking things a bit too far..........

Is the DLO dream really over? We take on Napier and Graham for the GSW we take J. Bell in, it sure seems like we are dealing with the GSW a lot. There are already numerous outlets saying the GSW are just using DLO until Klay comes back healthy then will look to trade him. Could that future trade already be in place with MN? It just seems odd that DLO is already being rumored to be traded down the road. hmmm the DLO dream might just be on ice.

People don't think Russell fits. personally I think if he is as good as some think he is that won't be a problem. His passing could really be something for that team and he gives them another shooter. Defense? sure but not every ream has the luxury of the guys GS was running out there. Houston made it work I think GS can figure it out IF Russell is really good offensively. He has the length to be a SG. I wouldn't get your hopes up too high. I think I saw that the earliest he can be traded is December 19...its sometime in December. There si a chance Things click and they have a dynamic backcourt for a few years.
