I'm very curious to see what the crowd reaction is going to be like if he plays a home game. Most fans on twitter seem to be anti-Jimmy like me. But if the crowd cheers instead of boos him, I think it creates a bigger problem for Glen. He has to feel some sense of urgency to get the trade done. It's hard to see how he and Thibs can possibly co-exist at this point.

If Jimmy plays, I will be cheering for him to get hurt and will relish it when he does.

Hoping that Glen isn't dumb enough for anything is a stretch at this point.

If I were at the game I'd boo loudly, the entire team. Taj and Dieng may be the only truly likable guys on the team.

Yes, lots of candidates for the boo birds, with Butler, Thibs, and Taylor all deserving of the crowd's ire.

Luckily KAT got that restraining order approved against Khansy, otherwise he'd get booed too.

Why would I boo KAT? He's a good player who I just don't think has the 1a type personality to be a franchise game changer and everyone here is sprinting to hand that guy the keys to the team.

I'm just giving you a hard time Khans. But keep in mind KAT already has the keys to the team. Oh, he may be struggling to get the keys to fit into the ignition, but make no mistake he has the keys. He will be here long after Butler, Thibs, and potentially Wiggins are gone.

I think you can add Tyus to that list...

Not sure how Tolliver and Okogie don't make the list either.

And I would add Deng, Nunnaly and KBD...and I will cheer KAT's effort (don't know what Butler's beef is here) and Wig's occasional inspired play. Dark days currently, but still lots of things to cheer for on this squad.

I'd like to sit behind Glen and boo all game for 1 year of winning playoff basketball in 30 years.

I don't know if it will be that much longer. Why would he stay in this shit show after his first contract? A lot more has to go right for him to do that and we don't have the best record of making the correct decisions.

Yes, there are obviously more players to cheer than the two I listed. Of course most of those not listed weren't here last year and so far this year's Wolves related news is focused primarily on those at the top, and not in a good way. Even a player like KAT who seems like a really good guy is just really hard to like right now when this team cannot afford a $190M beta.

He signed a $190M contract, he no longer has the luxury of not being a game changer. He and Wiggins will change this teams fortunes, either for the better by embracing their expectations, or by destroying the team because their contract will not allow the team to find a true game changer in a positive sense.

When you sign for $150-190M you will either be loved or hated. You cannot take that much of a teams cap space and not be elite, or you can, but you should expect the shit storm that will be coming your way!

Cool, Ihave the same sentiments, but I am happy to wait on the trade until we get what we want. Jrich and Adebayo as a minimum, and if we take on a bad deal like Waiters I would want a first with very little protection as well.

SP, you can take Gorgui off of my list. He was getting a little mouthy to a local guy because he brought up what it would take to move Diengs deal. Maybe if Gorgui played better teams would be willing to take him on.

Yeah, if they haven't offered those pieces yet, i can't blame Glen for not executing the trade. And i say Glen because Thibs is clearly not trying to make a deal.

Was listening to Jeff Van Gundy today. Now realizing he is a Thibs supporter, he said some interesting things. One was that Jimmy always espouses the "winning is the most important thing" mantra, but his actions since last season would suggest that money is. He also said the circus he has created has destroyed our preseason, and that no matter if he plays with the Wolves or not, the team is so far behind at this point it will be nearly impossible to dig our way out. In other words just because Jimmy is temporarily back, don't expect the wins to just happen. Too much damage has been done.

Suppose what Van Gundy said is true. How could any Wolves fan with a spec of pride in the franchise support him at this point? I think every fan should be as angry as I am. Jimmy has shit on the entire team and state. For some reason i still care about the Wolves and their future. At a minimum I'm going to expect the employees to care as much as i do.
