I've identified what it would realistically take to sign them. For most I listed both the vet min and RE, but in most of those instances it would probably take the RE. In some cases, I only listed vet min because I wouldn't consider using the RE on them:

Thabo Sefolosha -- Vet Min or RE
Gerald Green - Vet Min or RE
James Young (Boston) - Vet Min or RE
Anthony Morrow (Bulls) - Vet Min or RE
Aaron Brooks (Indiana) - Vet Min or RE
CJ Miles (Indiana) - RE or trade Aldrich and pick)
Tony Allen (Memphis) - Vet Min
Vince Carter (Memphis) - Vet Min
Luke Babbit (Miami) - Vet Min or RE
Darren Collision (Kings) - RE or trade Aldrich and pick
Tyreke Evans (Kings) - RE or trade Aldrich and pick
Ty Lawson (Kings) - Vet Min
Trey Burke (Wizards) - Vet Min or RE
Brandon Jennings (Wizards) - Vet Min or RE
Derrick Rose (Bulls) Vet Min or RE

Possible trade targets in exchange for Aldrich and our pick would be the following:

1. Orlando's Terrance Ross. I think Orlando should be in full rebuild mode, so another draft pick and the more cap friendly contract of Aldrich might be enticing. His contract is $10 million, so trading Aldrich might work under the salary cap.

2. Knicks Courney Lee. Knicks are looking for youth and draft picks. But Lee's $11.2 million salary might not work under the cap.

I bet we don't see many signings till Hayward makes his decision.

I'm glad my hyping of Trey Burke finally made someone's list. Lol

Well, I wish I knew why he hasn't panned out as expected. Unless there are motivation or drug issues, I think there's still hope for him.

No question that our top priority has to be a high caliber wing rotation player who can fill in for Butler and Wiggins without too much drop off. Those two guys can't be expected to play 40+ minutes a game and it's inevitable that one or both will miss some games. Ideally, the wing would be a good 3-point shooter. My top two choices for this right now are Afflalo and Thabo. (I inadvertently left Afflalo off my list). They're both solid veteran two-way players. Afflalo is the better 3-point shooter of the two, but Thabo can hit the three. Otherwise, CJ Miles and Tyreke Evans would be on my radar.

Our next priority should be a veteran PG. I like Tyus, but I'm not ready to rely exclusively on him as our sole backup to Teague. My favorite for this slot is and has been Darren Collison. But I don't' think we can get him here for the $4.3 million room exception, and I'm not sure he's worth trading our OKC first round pick for the cap space to get him. Assuming we don't trade our OKC pick, we'll have to use our room exception on a backup wing. That means we'll be limited to using our remaining ($3 million?) in cap space or the vet minimum to get a vet PG. That likely means we probably won't to better than a Trey Burke, Brandon Jennings or Aaron Brooks.

He'd be a nice addition. Do you think we can get him for the $4.3 million room exception?

It would be sweet if we could. Heard was close with bulls even reported he had agreed w them but heard that isnt true and we moved in on him. I think he will want more though would be my guess.
