The league is getting out of hand with the deals being handed out. 3yrs 16m for collison? the 4yr 32m for bradly and 3yr 19.5m for meeks is just as bad.

Sefelosha 3 years 12 million. He had a down year shooting the ball last year but that seems like the bargin of FA so far.

If Channing Frye or Spencer Hawes earn more the $8M a year on their new deals then Flip should just wait for the scraps at the end. The Kaman contract isn't terrible but I think he could have been had for less if Portland waited it out a little longer.

I think the Kaman and Thabo deals are bargains. Kaman -- Only $6 million guaranteed over two years. Thabo -- only $4 million per year and only 2 years. I'm feeling better now about the League's sanity. Flip is right to sit tight for a while and let things develop. We're not in a position to compete for anything close to the top tier of free agents. And the volume of free agents this summer is enormous. So I would expect a few nice bargains to be around at the end. Moreover, it's hard to know who to sign as a FA without first knowing whether Love will be here and, if not, who the Wolves will end up with in exchange for Love.

Kamen's deal is good because if he wasn't 32 with likeliness to miss at least 20 games even playing limited minutes he would be a good starting center and he would be making 10-12 million per. For 5 million you aren't gonna find many guys with more on the court ability you just don't know how much he will be able to be on the court which is why he basically only gets 1 year deals the last how many years? Its a nice move for Portland.

Hawes to the Clippers, 4/$23M. Seems like a really good fit

Hawes is certainly the best bargain thus far. Very solid value at the mid-level. I fully expected him to get $8M per, maybe more with the way free agency began.

Interesting twist on the Kevin Love market should this report be true.

The best case scenario for us would be for this report to be true. Bosh won two rings and it is in his best interest to sign a max deal now as it could be his last chance at max money. Then the rockets accept that they won't be getting born or melo and instead focus on trading away Lin for ca relief and sign bosh for a max deal. Bosh fits perfectly next to howard and can play off both harden and Howard. An ideal fit for the rockets.
Lebron would seriously consider going back to Cleveland then. It's the only place he can sign that won't be another pr disaster for him and could actually repair his image. This push cavs to make a deal for love with wiggins as exchange.
Il send them love and Martin for wiggins, gee, Thompson and Bennett.
