cleanthony is only 11 months younger then Paul George. I don't see him ever being as good. Good role player yes, but not an all-star.

I disagree. He doesn't fit our need list but it would be a mistake to pass on him.

Meh. 22 years old. Numbers don't blow you away. Not a "can't miss" athlete either. Plenty of guys I'd want ahead of him.

Obviously the Paul George comparison is a stretch but I cant think of another player that he reminds me of. I think Early will be a solid nba starter and much better than anything we currently have at SF

Wes Johnson would be a closer comparison than Paul George. And I don't think Early's better than Shabazz.

He's a little under the radar right now, but keep K.J. McDaniels as a possibility at 13. MAYBE could trade down and get him. Two-way player (thrives on defense), 2nd best athlete in draft. Starting to have a crush on his NBA prospects.

Stauskas
G.Harris
McDaniels
Put those names in a hat and pull one out. I'd be satisfied with any one of them. All three have potential to be steals/game-changers.

Even if Aaron Gordon fell in our lap, that's a big win. By the way, he's a small forward in the NBA in my eyes. Very good laterally and disciplined in terms of defense. On that end, I believe he's going to be above average. On offense, he's a good driver and terrific athlete. Good handle too. I keep seeing PF next to him on draft sites, but in the NBA, there's no reason why he can't be a physically dominating SF. Too good of a driver to not be able to succeed against normal sized SFs. Very capable passer too. Can play within a system. Can grab a rebound and go the length of the floor; big advantage. Needs to work on the jumper, though. Form looks fine, honestly, it's just not falling.
I also just like him as a kid. Seems to have a relentless work ethic. Has a great understanding of team concepts and WINNING. Also only 18 years old. Potential is very high.
I don't see him making it to 13, but if he does, we'd have to think about drafting him. I wouldn't groom him to be a PF, though. Looks like a small forward through and through.
