I love Dieng and I think he will be a force to be reckoned with defensively in the future. But you know damn well the refs would have eaten him alive in a close game against Miami. He would get zero benefit of the doubt. Plus he was struggling a bit earlier in the game. Solid decision by Adelman.

Breakout game for chase! Like seeing bud do well. Love looks winded since before the end of the 4th but he fights on, those 2 miss 3's were tough but he made 2 to make up for it and that al jefferson like hook/push shot was pretty sweet. Rubio had his double double and a big steal in clutch.
i thought adelman did a great coaching job. Someone mentioned it and i have to agree, this would go down as a all time classic wolves game and we win this one! Good job overall.

um no the refs wouldn't have eaten him alive anymore than they did the guys out there. we didn't get a single call until the one with brewer at the end. Adelman is a stuborn fuck with rooks and he continues to prove it every game.

HUGE win. I need the Wolves to win 41 games to get paid on a huge bet. But beyond that what a great win to build confidence. These are the kind of games that will make K-Love want to stick around.
Fuck yeah.

Dude, settle down. You know we won the game? Dieng played 24 minutes against an elite team on the road. It was a great experience for him, but he didn't play his best game.

I think you have a solid chance, but it might be close! I expect a letdown tomorrow. These guys are absolutely gassed.

Agree, and that's why I will be hedging with a bet on Orlando on the moneyline (probably around +200 I'm guessing?). I figure if the wolves win tomorrow night I'm looking really good for the big bet, but if they lose I want to get some of my money back now.
Great win tonight though. Happy for these guys. They grew up a little bit tonight in my opinion. And one final thought:
Fuck Lebron James.

38 mins, 24 pts, 7-9 FG, 5-8 3P, 5-7 FT, 4 reb, 4 ast, 2 stl. WOW. Missed the game, but box score says Chase looked pretty damn good. Is it because legs looked better or was it just his shot was going in? Yes, the two are different in my eyes.
If this upward trend (one game) stays for the remainder of the season, it'd be a large boost for this team heading into the off-season. Bud and Dieng's arrival are huge for next season as that's likely two big contributors off the bench. A Nik Stauskas :thumb: and different backup PG paired with those two could be just enough to make this team what most thought it would be this year. I reserve complete excitement about Bud, but man I hope he regains his bounce and keeps it.
Does anyone think Bazz could be used on the second unit as a Draymond Green/Shane Battier stretch-4? I realize the defense isn't as good, though he probably has enough strength for a lot of backup PFs, but rebounding and offensive potential are there. DC's gone next year and as LST reiterates, we have a plethora of SFs on the roster. Plus if they stick with in-house options I'd rather Bazz play than Hummel.
New PG, Stauskas, Budinger, Muhammad, Dieng. Developing young talent while putting a possibly good unit on the floor.

Heat starting unit (without Wade): 92 points.
Wolves starting unit (without Martin/Pek): 81 points.
Heat bench: 27 points
Wolves bench: 41 points
Hmmm. I wonder what the Wolves record is when their bench has more points than the opponent's bench OR outscored by less than 15. That would be an interesting stat.

Didn't see the game, but watching the highlights how many offensive fouls does Lebron James get away with? No matter how well established the defender is means nothing in the officials eyes. He bowls in to established defenders and either gets the foul call or kicks it out. Ridiculous! This one shouldn't even have gone in to over time. Karma came back to bite them though.
