I think there are a lot of people in this country including citizens that are not respecting laws and not enough is done about it. I think a big part of that is various systems are simply overloaded. I think it would be beneficial to find ways to lessen what needed to be enforced. Legalizing marijuana would likely help in that regard.

I agree, but also think we don't lock enough people up. Interesting at church tonight they had a group about rehabilitation of men coming out of prison and helping them become good citizens. I am hoping to get more details on what they do.

I read something on twitter that showed people going to department stores in California, gathering up as much merchandise as they can hold, and then simply walking out with it. The reason? If it's less than $1000 the police will not make an arrest. So basically it's literally a free for all. People are going to be forced to take matters into their own hands. I can't see how it ends well.

As I had asked previously, if you are a socialist we don't have to bother with these arguments. At least then we can agree we have different ideologies and have an understanding we won't find common ground. Is that what this is?
