I have not heard a lot this week coming out of OTAs.

The biggest news was probably who wasn't there or who wasn't able to participate because of injury.

I know in one of the recent podcasts Jeff Diamond said he thought the talent level was higher this year than last year particularly the D line. He was impressed with the physical traits of the rookies on the outside.

I think they added have 3 young guys that really fit the mold of what they want. I would love to see 1 of them develop into a solid starter and another develop into a rotational guy like Weatherly.

Hunters contract reworked.

Looks like the Vikings will be at SoFi on 2/13/22.

Good to see the Hunter thing resolved for now. Note that it's a really popular thing to be a FA next season. Some teams and especially players are banking on the cap jumping up and therefore players will be able to cash in. I do think the cap will jump a bunch but idk if there will be a total flush of cash for players hoping for a big payday.

I have a feeling the Vikings will have no problem paying Hunter plenty of money if he returns to the player he was before his injury.

I'd put money on Cousins not having a 45 million dollar cap hit in 2022. If nothing else they will do a void year in his contract for 2023 that's totally guaranteed.

It was not a bad thing to get Hunter signed. If they also sign Richardson they DL will be really solid.

The cap situation will be interesting next year. This was a good year to have capspace.

If the O-line comes together this team could be a legit SB contender!

It's a pretty big if but yeah. Honestly the offense will still probably be pretty good even if the oline still kinda sucks because Cousins is pretty good and there are a lot of talented skill position players. The D should be pretty good and the depth at some key positions is pretty strong. Honestly there is a chance this Defense is good enough to basically carry a team to a bunch of wins and like I said the offense is likely to be pretty good even if it doesn't really hum. If the team stays relatively healthy it SHOULD be pretty good. A couple of the wrong injuries and things could go poorly.
