Abe, wouldn't it be more productive or enlightening [for the board] to actually read through the discussion and either comment towards it -- agree or disagree -- or make no comment whatsoever? What exactly does this type of passive aggressive comment do besides present me as the one in the wrong without expressing why, specifically? Surely, you could articulate one way or the other, or simply not at all.
The Russell arguments are annoying.
You passive aggressively add pro Russell comments into threads. Always. Don't know if that's what happened here. Nor do I care. It's a tired trope on the board. It's happened hundreds of times before.
You seem to have an issue with being called out for being wrong. And it shows up with Russell. It might all stem from you believing you're the smartest guy in the room, which reveals itself in condescending comments. Fortunately, Wiseman isn't a Timberwolves player. LOL.
Better?
Now, can we get back to what was obviously the overwhelming point of my post... the Wolves lost to a team where Kelly Oubre was its best player. And he's a shitty losing basketball player, which makes it a bad loss.

I call it how I personally see it with evidence to support my takes whether I'm sided with or against -- same as mostly anyone else here on this board on various matters. The only difference is that I don't partake in the echo chamber and finger-pointing regarding D'Angelo Russell, especially when the criticism is undeserved as it was last night. Annoying or not, that's the harsh truth and I'm more right than wrong by a large margin.
And thank you for admitting that you don't know what you were commenting towards. Your willful ignorance was on display by pounding the keyboard when you had no idea what the discussion even was. That's very much on brand for you. And rather than take the time to provide an insightful response on one side or the other you thought it was appropriate to mention my name as if my comments were unjustified or irrational. Weird behavior. Keep my name out of your posts or simply make an effort to join the discussion. It's not a big ask.
I don't (well, actually I do, but we won't go into that) understand how every loss seems to result in a discussion around DLO.
I don't kid myself that DLO is a top 10 PG in the league, but he also wasn't at fault for yesterday's loss. He should share his 15% of the blame at the most.
Yesterday the Wolves did exactly what they were doing early in the year, which is believe that they can win with talent devoid of effort and execution. They need to make effort on every trip down the court. They need to make easy passes, set good picks, and box out. They need to defend with their feet and not their hands. Their issues are the same issues every 8th grade coach harps on every game.
Didn't see the game, but going by the box score it looks like KAT's poor shooting was the difference. He won't have many nights shooting 1 from 11 from 3pt. On to the next one.

The answer is pretty simple. When a poster, who shall remain nameless, starts stumping for him over anyone else, you are going to get resistance. Especially when you refer to said player as Mr. 4th Quarter after the start to the season he's had. That's why these discussions end up centering on DLO
Ive defended Dlo for most the year. I posted one comment about him not getting Ant involved in crunch time which ultimately not a huge deal. I also maintained that he had a good game. I then was accused of blaming Dlo for the loss and bitching. Its a bit over the top. I really havent been that many unrealistic perspectives about Dlo on this board by anyone including Cam which is why I dont really understand his desire to defend him so vigorously.
The Wolves went on an 11-0 run on D'Angelo Russell's back to bring the game to 102-103 with 3:33 left. They were dead in the water prior to that stretch. I made a comment about it in real-time and Cool mocked it during and after the game. Fine. No harm done. Doper felt like D-Lo froze Anthony Edwards out down the stretch and we had our discussion and disagreement about it. Again, no harm done, I think.
Where things go south is when we have unsupported arguments with passive aggressive nonsense included. That shit hasn't always been apart of the board until recent seasons with the addition of a few new members and the attitude of some OG's. It also feels like we have some posters, some "fans" here that almost don't want to see this team win as long as certain players are on the roster, which is bizarre. The constant scapegoating, the reiteration of where people stand on certain trades so that they can be "right" down the line even if that means the Wolves aren't successful. It's like secretly rooting for your real team to lose so your fantasy team can win and pound your chest about it. It's all weird and borderline toxic fan behavior to me.
Perhaps I should just allow the echo chamber to exist without resistance and suppress my own opinions. That's never been who I am, though, so I struggle with that idea -- to participate here with a muzzle. I tend to think I'm not alone in what I see and post here, but I am the most vocal about it, which is disappointing. Oh, well.

Honestly Cam no harm done with me. I just think you dont need to police the Dlo conversation as much as you think, at least not with me. Maybe everyone reads too much into your posts as having some sort of emotional attachment to them when it is all just the way you express yourself. I havent constantly scapegoated Dlo though I want him to play better and properly utilize his significant talent. I think this team could be really fun to watch with DLo on it. I do geniunely believe that Dlo thinks he's better than he is, but in that point so does 95% of the NBA.
When Cam is away from the board, we simply don't have these DLO centric discussions that go on for pages. It would be a better board if he just avoided the DLO rhetoric.

That isn't entirely true. I read through past threads when I came back. The same rhetoric exists. The same toxic fan behavior exists. There's just no one refuting claims or sharing a different perspective, and therefore the piling on continues without interruption until the board moves on to something else. Objectivity often gets lost along the way.
The only difference when I'm here is that I'm opinionated, analytical, willing to disagree, and passionate in debate on a discussion board even if it's over reoccurring topics, including D'Angelo Russell.
