Can anyone pull up the stats for free throws attempt we've had versus our opponents this season?
Another game where the oppostion has shot twice as many as us (40 v 20). I'm not saying this is the reason we are losing, but there seems to be a major discrepency and we are on the wrong end of it! Too many jump shots, or too little calls going our way? Our star player KAT didn't even get to line against GSW. (I didn't watch the game).

Wolves opponents are #2 in FTA.

That can't ALL be Wolves fault.....As much as we like to beat up on our team when they do poorly, that just doesn't seem right to me.

It's funny, the fact that the Vikings disappoint every single year doesn't faze me, I expect it, and I'm not bothered by it. Yet with the Wolves who have an even more impressive record of failure, I still find myself hopeful for a week or so at the beginning of each year. I don't know what it is, maybe the fact that there are typically only 8 or 9 guys on a basketball team that need to be good versus 30 or more in football. You'd think it'd be a bit easier to put together a respectable, if not exceptional team in the NBA than it is in the NFL.
Either way I'm solidly back in my indifferent perspective on yet another Vikings and Timberwolves season!

It could be because the Vikes have success but let you down when it counts. As we don't even get to have the success for the Wolves.
Look at the Keenum year that was fun year to be a Viking fan even though they laid an egg in Philly in the NFC championship game. With the wolves you don't even sniff the playoffs and if you do the rockets knock you out in 5 games.

But I go into Vikings season with no faith in the team. I've honestly not been upset by anything they've done in years, and they've done a lot of stupid shit for years! With the Wolves on the other hand I always have a positive feeling, like this is the year they finally play consistently exciting basketball. Based upon each teams actual records year in year out you'd think my optimism would be reversed.
I guess I'm just extra stupid when it comes to basketball, and the Wolves in particular! LOL

Lost in the gloom and doom of another loss and the terrific performances by Ant and Wig, was the continuing exciting emergence of "Little Glove" Gary Payton II. I loved him coming out of college, but he has been terrible most of his career in the pros and G League. But it looks like Kerr has found a way to utilize his freakish athleticism, and he's starting to get more bench minutes for the Warriors. I expect a lot more highlight reel dunks from him this season.
