Watched the game on replay earlier today. Heartbreaker. KAT being out until last night gave us a bit of an excuse for a while there, but man we really need a win.
Q's post about wanting Culver instead of Edwards there at the end was exactly what I was thinking at the moment Ryan subbed Edwards back in. We had DLO, Beasley, and KAT in there, we didn't need more offense, we needed somebody to try and stop DeRozan and Culver had been better about that as well as not making mistakes.
Lip, I second your question there about Nowell. I guess he's just bench depth in case of possible injury to Beasley, Edwards, and/or DLO at this point.
Last thought, and I'm thinking of making a full thread on this--anybody else worried that the canned audience is so much better than the real audience and Timberwolves games that it'll actually be a letdown to have real fans back someday? It's funny when there's a bit of a delay, but on the whole, the sounds they are producing make it sound like a full crowd really into the game. Anybody know from a technological standpoint how they do that? Are there a couple people with knobs cranking it up when good things happen to the home team? How do they get the groaning sound they seem to get at times? Can the players hear it on the floor? Let's face it, these are the important questions on a team this shitty.
