Re: Around the NBA
Lavine disrespected Hoiberg openly and got him fired.
Now hes going at it with boylen in the media after he got benched for not defending last night.
I dont remember zach ever being like this in minnesota.
Watching the bulls, i think dunn is the only winning type player we gave them in the jimmy deal. The guy has some good defensive numbers, still can't shoot though.

It's not gone well in Chicago. Just looking at the stats for that team a number of guys that were supposed to be key players for them are shooting pretty poorly which for many of them is unexpected for sure. The Bulls have a bunch of guards it's not hard to see a coach pulling someone if they aren't doing what they are supposed to do especially defensively. Arcidiacono has been a nice find for them as a guy that looks like he can play in this league and give you a little something on both ends. Dunn is averaging over 2 steals a game as a bench player. Recently I watched a bit of highlights of Dunn from last year. His shot does look a little better. He is shooting less well this year but he also playing a smaller role. He might not be able to shoot as well playing fewer minutes. It will be interesting to see how things work out there. It's not looking great at this point but I don't think things are beyond repair either. I wonder if they don't have an assistances coach that is an offensive mind on the staff.

Wendel carter looks like the real deal though.

Nothing apparent in Minnesota, but it was definitely part of the worry after his college year.

Lavine scored 49 pts and 13 3s including the buzzer beater. After calling out his coach in one of the craziest games of the year

Heh, that is nuts. Crazy how we brought him up in this thread yesterday just before the brouhaha in the media regarding he and Boylen and then he proceeds to have a career game.

Re: Around the NBA
Cam's guy Josh Richardson powers the Sixers over Jimmy Butler and the Heat for an easy victory!
And similar to his time in Miami, he has one of the best net ratings on the Sixers, behind only Joel Embiid. May be it's because he can dribble, pass, shoot, and defend all at a solid level. The Wolves seem to be on a 20 year quest to find a single perimeter player that can do even three of those things well.

Re: Around the NBA
That was some bonkers 3 pt shooting from lavine tonight.
Re: Around the NBA
Zach LaVine had 49 points tonight. That's the sort of game we needed from Wiggins the Suns or, especially, the other night at home against Utah when Utah's defense was focused entirely on stopping KAT. Yes, Wiggins has played well so far this season, but if this team is going to become a contender with Wiggins as one of our two pillars along with KAT, then he has to have games like LaVine's 49 point game tonight or Booker's 30+ point effort tonight against the Wolves. With defenses focused so much on KAT, Wiggins needs to dominate.

Richardson was the guy the Wolves could have had for Butler. And we would have apparently received Miami's 2019 first round pick as well (#13).
