I'd do the Aldrich + OKC pick deal with someone if it would enable us to sign him. What do you think?

Man, Tyreke seems like a great potential addition. He is still only 27, and can play minutes at both wing spots. Also, he is seemingly an improving 3 point shooter. Would certainly look at him.

Well trading Aldrich would leave us with 11+ mill in space. We could always use that and the room exception to sign 3 solid to good bench guys or a 6th man and a couple decent/solid guys. I wouldn't trade our OKC pick unless one of those 2 outcomes was doable.

I would probably do it. Guy looks really good and is well seasoned. Tore it up when we played them in exhibition. If we could get him and add Barton in a deal somehow i would be over the moon. I really like barton. Then sign jimmer for league minimum.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were seriously talking to him but both sides decided to go a different direction when the Bulls made the Butler trade.

He'd be a nice addition. Do you think we can get him for the $4.3 million room exception?

The other bogdanovic signed for 12 mil per with the kings. Milo was about to get a big deal overseas. Doubt he comes for 4.3. 4/40 minimum is my guess.

That was the first reported deal for Bogdanovic but it's now reported as 3 for 27 which sounds more realistic to be honest. I would think milo would need more than 4-5 million to sign as well but who knows? It probably depends on how many teams really have interest in signing him on how much leverage he will have to get more.

If the Wolves are talking to Teo, they must have a plan for how they'd sign him. I have to believe they have a sense of how much he'd cost before initiating discussions. I can't imagine Thibs and Layden being that clueless. So either they believe they can get him for the room exception or they're prepared to deal Aldrich and our OKC pick for additional cap room that would be sufficient to sign him. If trading the Aldrich + the OKC pick would free up around $10.5 million in cap space, I suspect at least $7 million of that would go to Teo. So signing him would only leave around $3.5 million in cap space for another FA.

Teo looks like a heckuva passer, which is always nice to have, and he's a career 38% shooter from 3 on 7 shots per game the last few years which is nice, but don't we need a backup wing much more? Plus we already have Tyus and there are going to be a bunch of veteran PGs willing to be a 3rd backup this year with the influx of young PGs in the league. If they are comfortable playing him on the floor with Tyus or Teague for stretches (he's 6'5" so it's not totally crazy if he can defend ok), and have a plan to get a wing with the remaining space, I ok with it.

Will Barton is a solid SG, and he's improved as a passer and 3 point shooter in the last two years. Can his 3 point shooting stay north of the league average 35% though? Last year when he hit 37% was the first year in his 5 seasons when he actually cracked 35%. We're already an athletic team, and he would make us even more athletic. He's only making 3.5 million this year. If that would leave us enough space to get Teodosic for about 7.5 and land them both, that would be a good deal.

No thanks, can't stay healthy (seriously, check how many games this guy misses every year) and I'm skeptical about the shooting improvement. Last year he hit the league average (35%), but he was streaky and that was only in 40 games. The previous year he his 38% on a low volume in just 25 games. Before that, he never once cracked 30% when he used to be somewhat healthy.
