We'll never know for sure what Thibs really offered or turned down.
If Thibs were offered a Rubio for Butler straight up swap he would be nuts for turning that down.

That didn't happen. It was Rubio and #5 for Butler.

My thoughts exactly, lip. One correction: this wasn't a tweet by Ricky, it was by Andrew Renschen (although it's nice to see a happy Ricky back on twitter again after being off since the draft). Everything is in quotes though, so I think it's authentic. Ricky's quick response to the question as to whether he expects to be moved or not is very heartening, as is another tweet from Renschen saying Ricky and Thibs had a long conversation before the draft. Ricky's strong answer leads me to believe Thibs told him everything he needed to hear about his role on the team. This is good to hear.

Rubio just posted himself in his Spain gear for Rio on Instagram. Glad to see he's working on his shot and muscles again this summer.

How does the guy only manage to be healthy during international tournament summers? That's some poor luck for the Wolves.

Well, he played nearly every game last season and 82 games a couple seasons ago. So he's an iron man during the NBA season when he doesn't tear a ligament. :)

Rubio did play that game against the USA in 2008 with an injured hand.

Was it because he couldn't shoot?
