Not sure, Cool. Hard to know how Flip feels about Wiggins. I have an educated guess, but I'm not sure.
Lip, wasn't it reported that Wiggins was on top of his draft board?
Wolfson Tweeted it Wiggins was at the Top of Flip's board. Take that for whatever its worth.
Thanks, Cool. Could be true, but Doogie is notoriously inaccurate. He has no credibility. On the other hand, wouldn't surprise me if Wiggins was #1 on Flip's board.

Just to throw out that my request was flawed even if you agree with the concept that we wouldn't be better? Sorry I'm not at a computer researching all this stuff so I'm 100% correct all the time. Sorry my opinion on the matter isn't the case 100% of the time. It just happens to be the case more times than not. This is like twitter. If you aren't 100% correct, then why bother posting when half the board is going to jump all over you the first chance they get just to say you're wrong even if they agree with your larger point?
Cause you were trying to be a smart ass to the guy who thought the wolves would be better off without love and make the playoffs that's why I did it. Just because I don't believe it will happen doesn't mean it won't, I gave examples for hope at least. This is why I stick to the twins board with cam and LST we know shit sucks with the twins but yet we try to at least stay positive. I'll shut up and go back to the baseball side of the board.

Yeah that's why I said take Wolfson for what its worth I follow him on twitter since he covers all Minny sports so he comes in handy to hear various news.
I'll also mention that Flip defended his position on Funkadelic that Parker wouldn't start on a bunch of NBA teams and mentioned he had to get better on defense but he could really score so its not like he didn't like Parker. It doesn't take a genius to guess Flip would have Wiggins #1 on his board my guess is so did most GMs once Joel had surgury.
Extremely frightening that some of you are OK with letting Love stay on the team and attempting to "roll the dice" on the season. We haven't done a single thing this offseason aside from add Lavine (who I do really like), while Western conference teams like Dallas, Portland, New Orleans, Phoenix, etc. have all added major pieces.
And that's BEFORE guys like Pierce, Gasol, Deng, etc. sign (possibly with teams like OKC, LAC, and SA). It is by far in our best interest to trade Love now, sit out a year or two, and collect assets/develop players that allow us to actually have sustainable success.
I'm starting to fall to the dark side (keeping Love). I'm tired of these teams that think they should be handed Love for guys who are nowhere near his level. Its absurd. Its becoming clear that these teams are content to wait till February to save an asset or 2. I never thought Flip could get him to reconsider over the next year but I also never thought LeBron would go back home. Fuck it; go ahead Flip and go all in with Love. Either way, I'm annyoed with myself that I got so emetionally invested in this process. Someone hit me over the head when something happens.
There's a lot to be optimistic about if we can get Wiggins. I just happen to draw the line for me at 5th seed in a stacked conference because of a rookie and an on over the hill big which was Maelstrom's post that started all this mess. Ricky, Wiggins, Dieng is the kind of defensive core that I could actually get excited about.

Dallas got a major downgrade at the point position and brought back Chandler who is sinking fast. I doubt they will land Parsons at this point. Phoenix is stockpiling point guards and strangely dont seem to be getting flak like Minnesota did. Apparently they intend to keep Bledsoe and Ennis. Kaman doesnt move the needle much for me but Blake is ok. New Orleans has had a nice offseason addition but is incredibly injury prone pretty much top to bottom. Im not any more concerned at this point about those teams then I was last season.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on that one. Ricky/Brewer on your wings is a lot different than Curry/Iggy. Lee also doesn't solve any defensive problems. I don't think Thompson solves our defensive problems because we would still be just as bad at the rim.
