Yeah...the Vikings have 252 rushing yards this season. Cousins has 61 of those yards.

The line is terrible at pass blocking so why are people surprised we can't run the ball? Cook gets hit behind the line of scrimmage on almost every touch.

Yep it's bad. The Vikings have offset this problem is partly throwing the ball to the RBs.

The game this weekend vs Eagles is huge. We really need this one at this point. We really couldn't afford that Bills lose and lose to both Rams and Eagles.

The way this game started out with Bailey missing 2 kicks I was about done with sports period but then Linval got that TD and I was drawn back in...and Bailey makes the game to possibly put this away.

Big win. It wasn't pretty and I really didn't understand giving them 7 free points at the end there with no resistance because there's a full minute left on the clock if that ball bounces off Thielen far enough where he can't get it. You need to win games where the defense spots you 7 and we did. Hopefully that clincher from Bailey gives him the confidence to finish strong the rest of the year.

Huge win. It was not pretty, but something to build off of.

I've never really completely understood the prevent D. On the other hand it is worth noting that team's offense is very different in those situations also. It would be interesting to know if there is any analytics done on those situations.

It just seems weird to give up 10+ free yards a play even if it keeps the clock running. I don't see how that's better than making them play the sidelines with a normal defense because it doesn't take any significant time to run up to the line and take your next 10 free yards. Why can't they just play normal defense with the safeties back a little bit more than normal? A sack would kill the drive, but there is no chance to sack the QB when he just takes the free yards in 2 seconds. That scoring drive took a minute. The only way they do that faster would be to get a big play which is possible but unlikely when teams need to play the sidelines to preserve the clock. It's called the Minnesota Miracle for a reason. That stuff doesn't happen hardly ever if you defend it properly so the big play is a very small percentage chance to happen. Just doesn't make sense to me especially when the defense played well for most of the game. I would be making them scrape and claw and have to use the sideline for first downs. Give yourself a chance to just shut down the drive versus being worried about a big play giving them a quick score. You gave them a free and fast touchdown anyway so it's hard to imagine them scoring much quicker than they already did.

Preaching to the choir here. I agree.
