TeamRicky and bleed, do you guys have a reason for excluding Brown? Just curious.

Tentative Top 10:
1. Simmons - Incredible combination of size and skill set.
2. Ingram - Great length and already a good shooter.
3. Bender -- I have no idea from the few highlights I've seen. But I'll go the pundits on this
4. Hield -- Second coming of Ray Allen. Great shooting numbers, lightning quick release.
5. Murray -- Already a great shooter at age 19. Has special quality in his game.
6. Dunn -- Looks like a defensive stopper/disrupter right out of the gate. But shooting?
7. Sabonis -- Much higher that pundits predict. But I see another Kevin Love in this guy.
8. Valentine -- Defense is suspect, but love his offensive game - passing, shooting, handle
9. Poeltl -- I'm warming up to him
10. Thon Maker - Going out on a limb here. I'm thinking Greek Freak or possibly KG, but will have to wait a few years for development.

Good list, Lip...but I think you're being terribly unfair to Sabonis. Everything I hear about him tells me he is a mature, good guy and a terrific teammate :) .

I'm going through and watching some video on prospects outside the top 5. Some thoughts.
The athletic potential PF/C guy Skal Deyonta Davis and Chriss are all intruiging guys with flaws. I'm not sure which guy I like the best out of them. It's easy to see why any of them could be lottery picks. I could see an argument for even taking 1 at 5 or if you dropped a couple spots and still got one that sounds good to me. There are plenty of bigs in this draft of varying skill sets and Instill have more homework to do.
Those guys seem to be pushing Ellenson out of the top 10 which seems to me to make him a value pick. He was very productive as a freshman and while his shooting stoke didn't lend itself to actual good shooting percentages it's easy to think he could be a stretch bigman that also happened to rebound the ball at a high rate. He didn't put up Kevin's Love UCLA numbers but it's more in the realm of what he did than some of the other guys projected to be taken before him. The difference is he has legit C size so I think he could end up playing there long term. Defensively he may not be great but a late lottery PF/C that can rebound and stretch defenses? Sounds pretty good to me. DX has him dropping to #13 to the Suns who need bigs and I think they would be thrilled to get a guy like that there. Sabonis is still my favorite player in the draft (not best talent but kinda like Dieng I just want the guy) but if we did trade down and ended up with Ellenson I would like that plenty.

That was an oversight. I certainly think Brown is a lottery pick and I will update my list to reflect that.
Here is my revised list with Brown now included and I dropped Onuaku out of the first round after finding out about his heart condition. My rankings reflect how I value them and how good a fit I think they would be here, not based on where I think they'll get drafted:
1. Ingram
2. Simmons
3. Bender
4. Hield
5. Dunn
6. Luwawu
7. Valentine
8. Jaylen Brown
9. Baldwin
10. Patrick McCaw
11. Deyonta Davis
12. Jacob Poeltl
13. Taurean Prince
14. Sabonis
15. Skal Labissiere
16. Jamal Murray
17. Furkan Kormaz
18. Marquisse Chriss
19. Thon Maker
20. Ben Bentil
21. Caris Levert
22. Ellenson
23. Gary Payton II
24. Guerschon Yabusele
25. Dedric Lawson
26. Petr Cornelie
27. Brice Johnson
28. Chinese Guy (Qi)
29. Cordinier
30. Robert Carter
31. Ante Zizic

I think

A top 10 is tough. I went more upside on my selections outside of Sabonis and Valentine. I worry about Brown since scouts think he plays like a PF. I left Murray out too, because he is not a two way player. Valentine might not be either, but he seems like a guy that could play 3 positions on offense and in time even play a little small ball PF with how he rebounds.

You realize he is 6'5 there is no way in hell he could play pf effectively, he would be super short for sf

He is the same size as Shabazz so he could play it for stretches. Certainly not a FT PF, but could play there for bursts like Shabazz.
Both are about the same size as Craig Smith. I think both would play PF better then Wiggins at this point.

Yeah sometimes we can get a bit caught up in these size measurements to a certain point. Size CAN be pretty relative of you have a unique player which that defines Valentine. There is no way Draymond Green (MSU right?!? Lol) or for that matter Dennis Rodman (was a SF when he came into the league) should have been able to play PF/C with their measurables. They are outliers though. Bazz is a unique player in that he actually has the skill set and sort of PF mentality the way he throws his body around. I'm getting off topic here but I'd like to see him play with Belly inverting their roles (relative to their positions) on offense makes too much sense and Bazz can fight guys defensively on the block.
Valentine is like sort of a guy without a position but he can do so much stuff it may not matter. How does Valentine compare to a do a lot of stuff guy in college like Kyle Anderson? They are pretty much about the same age at this point.
