Looks like Boone asked to play LT. He certainly couldn't have been worse then Clemmings.

Rashod Hill got some game time. If Clemmings is not a OG next year he should be cut.

Beavers also shouldn't be back. Sully played a little this year for Redskins. I couldn't have hurt to keep him around and have Berger play some OG.

Rashod Hill Ranked as our 2nd best OL with more at least 49 snaps.

Note to Zimmer - I am not a expert but the OL coach shouldn't be back. The decisions to keep putting Clemmings at LT cost this team at least 2 games in my eyes. We had better options. I am sure Boone would have been better. Looks like Hill would have been better. He was the worst performing lineman by far, but for some reason played the most snaps.

Playing the most snaps had a lot to do with him being healthy all but the final game.

Davidson was fired last year. Is Sparano the problem this year? Idk maybe Shurmer or Zimmer dictated some of what happened with different offensive line moves. I have no idea I'm just throwing that out there. There are a lot of questions with not enough answers.

I would have been curious what his rating was at RT vs LT. I am guessing he was horrible at both. Clemmings must look good in practice.

Interesting read. Fant is a rookie that was not even playing football in college and has been better then Clemmings at LT this year. Go figure.

More OL in review

Seriously should have seen if Boone could play LT or at least be a solid backup during this wasted season. I hope Clemmings, Smith, and Fusco are not back next year. All 3 are done or never had it.

Thanks quite a story. I've often wondered why more teams don't try and find College basketball bigmen and try them as offensive tackles just because of their athletic ability alone. This guy at least had some experience as a college football player.

Thanks for posting.

Mike Tice's contract is up in Oakland I wish we could get him back here to coach the Oline. Notice Tom Cable is the oline coach in Seattle. That's where he rally shined when he was in Oakland if I remember correctly. Maybe Sparano will find and develop a gem or 2 like the rally good oline coaches seem to be able to do. Thats not all that far fetched.
