That's my statement draw your own conclusions from it
I mean my conclusion is that last years wolves would have got an equal or better result tonight. So what's missing in the wolves equation? I'm really not sure, but Through 6 games there's definitely something wrong or missing. Just because Rudy had a good night (and is a good player), doesn't mean the team is better with him... thats the huge point I've been trying to make all along.
If we win 76 games in a row will you change your mind D?
What am I wrong about? I like Rudy. We barely beat a crap team at home tonight... This isn't good. You happy where this team is at?
It's so early in the season, let this play out for 20 games and see where we are. We've looked really good at times, and not so good at others. The whole key IMO is ball movement. If we share the basketball and make the extra pass I think we can beat just about anybody in a 7 game series.
Cool - I agree that ball movement is key for this team. But I'm still troubled. We beat a really bad team at home tonight. The Lakers were 0-4 before tonight's game and they had AD all four of those losses. Tonight they didn't even have AD and yet the Wolves struggled to beat them. Particularly troubling is the fact that the Wolves were once again out-rebounded tonight. Playing without their star center and best rebounder, the Lakers still out-rebounded the Wolves by 6 in spite of Gobert's 20 boards. Another persistent trouble spot evident again tonight was poor free-throw shooting as the Wolves hit only 67% of their shots from the line. Nowell looked like his visual astigmatism has returned and DLO had one of his all-too frequent nights where he couldn't find the bottom of the net.
The good news is that Towns had 7 assists and was back to his efficient shooting. His passing skills are finally starting to show themselves and he's starting to gel with Rudy on the offensive end and hit a big three late in the 4th. Edwards had a terrific offensive game. And of course, Gobert had a monster game.
But overall, this team is off kilter. Something's wrong. Ball movement is part of it, but not all of it. I think the ball movement issue is fixable with the current players, but I'm not sure of that. I'm not sure how to fix the rebounding issue with the current personnel. Rudy's certainly doing his part. We need more rebounding from the SF position than we're getting from McDaniels in my view. There's also the perimeter defense issue. And then there's something else wrong that I can't put my finger on. All of these things together concern me, but I agree that it's way too early to panic or throw in the towel on the season. I trust Finch as much as any NBA head coach to do his part to fix the team's problems. But ultimately it will come down to the players and I'm not sure we have the right players. We're very talented, but as McHale used to say, "it's not the five best players, it's the five players who play best together."

Observations...
- I'm still in the camp that any win for this franchise is a good win, no caveats or qualifiers or buts.
- Really like how KAT has played drama-less ball these last couple of games. He hasn't necessarily been dominant, but he seems to be making the right play 90% of the time.
- Ant is fun to watch....and frustrating at times. You gotta make at least one pass to Gobert when he has a little guy sealed off in the paint. I get we don't want to run our whole offense that way, but you gotta get it to him once. Ant still has a lot of maturing to do.
- Thought Jaden did yoeman's work against LeBron.
- While I know the Lakers were missing AD and have not been good this year, they will win a game at some point and they do play good defense (4th in the NBA heading into this game).
- Pat Beverley does not look so great out there. I think he's losing his outside shot, as we saw last year it was getting a bit unreliable.
- Prince has been ROCK solid for this year so far. Just an awesome vet wing off the bench.
4-2, I'll take it!

Well cool. I'm an ass for asking a question. I'm also an ass because my grammar is never correct. Even though I've told everyone before that I've have always struggles with dyslexia. Remember it was year ago I was called the worst poster on here
But hey You guys just lost another poster. Thanks Kek, Cam, Q and Cool for always being good to me. But have fun with the negativity on this board.
