I want more proof, kekgeek. LOL.

Actually he shot 33.3% from game 24-72. So of course, he started the year terribly, turned it around in the middle, and I was wrong about finishing strong. He finished sub-par.

Never the less he did shoot over 35 and 36% in two of his last 4 seasons.

And it's not just the Timberwolves. The first team I looked up was perennial playoff team Milwaukee...
7 of the 11 guys who played for them in the 2nd round of the playoffs last season are not playing in the playoffs this season.

The next team was Philadelphia. 12 guys played in the playoffs last season + they had Simmons who was out injured. Only 7 of them played in the playoffs this season vs. Atlanta, and that includes Mike Scott's 1 minute.

So yet again... WHY do we care about Okogie or Vanderbilt or Culver or Hernangomez or anybody not named Towns, Edwards and Simmons? Those other guys are not the solutions. So they're not going to be here for very long. Dump them. Grab/trade for other borderline NBA players who fit better.

I get that we can churn the roster, but the trick is the guys that fit better would be volume 3-point shooters. Those are a lot harder to find than one-way defensive types. Any suggestions? Name names please.

I'll just go down the list of teams

Landry Shamet. 39.7% career 3fg.
Bryn Forbes. 41.2% career 3fg.
Reggie Bullock. 39.2% career 3fg
Alec Burks. 37.3% career 3fg.
Tony Snell. 39.7% career 3fg.
Avery Bradley 36.3% career.

None of these guys is the answer. Some of them are sorta cringeworthy. But that's sort of the point. That's what makes all them affordable and/or available. Other teams much better than the Timberwolves signed them to pretty cheap deals and the players helped out in some way.

I can keep going through the list of teams (that's just the top 6 Eastern Conference teams), but I think you get the point.

Its being reported that the wolves and 76ers had talks today involving a Ben Simmons deal. Wolves do not want to give up Dlo.

Wolves currently have the 3rd best betting odds on Oddshark to where Simmons will play next year. Behind 76ers and Blazers

*that better mean Ant is off the table

2 firsts and expiring contracts? If Simmons went that Cheap that would be insane to me. I would think McDaniels would have to be on the table.

Yeah, seems absurdly cheap to me for an all-nba defensive talent. I'd sure love it if it happened. Where did you see this deal rumored, doper?

I was just guessing what they might be offering at this point. I am not sure where Kek's initial rumor buzz came from?

I'm guessing it might be Jon K's article in the Athletic today. I haven't read it so I don't know the details, but I think Jon said the Wolves have no interest in letting DLO go. I understand the sentiment in light of a fairly strong finish to last season, but I have a difficult time envisioning a Simmons deal that doesn't involve Russell. And even a deal involving Russell might not be close to enough...although this is just the opinion of one Philly fan, it appears they may be tuned into DLO's weaknesses (inefficient scorer and poor defender).

I read Jon's article today. He wasn't optimistic a deal could be made but thought Rosas would try. He did say they are reluctant to part with DLO (I don't think the 76ers would want him anyway) for some odd reason. But that's just further validation of my head idiot theory. Most of the article seemed to point to the necessity of Ant being involved. I want Simmons badly, but for me Ant and McDaniels would be off the table. Imagine hanging on to DLO and moving those two.
