Butler to the heat.

Dragic to the mavs for capspace.

So that eliminates dallas as landing place for wig then. Damn

Better return than we got.

Hahah. Good point. Travesty that trade was.

Problem was we didn't have cap space at the time, once again we would had to take Olynk and probably Waiters to make that trade worth.

You really can't compare the 6ers getting Horford with the Wolves because Wolves didn't have the cap to do that

As speculated here earlier today, Goran Dragic to Mavs as part of making cap space work on Butler deal. The Butler deal will leave the Heat hard-capped for 2019-20.

Josh Richardson for Jimmy is finally happening. I guess Riley changed his mind.

Dragic is not in the Mavs/Heat/76ers trade. Olynk and Jones involved instead

4 teams for Butler in 2 years. I think he'll add a 5th this season.

Ok. It's Wiggins straight up for Whiteside. Butler and Wiggins reunite.

Why did Miami want Butler so bad? And why would he want to go there? He just got further away from the championship. To me it looks like Philadelphia fleeced the entire league. They keep Tobias and add a perfect fit in Horford. I think they will win the East next year.

Yeah it doesn't really make any sense. Of course to some extent you can say that about Miami for the past couple years. Oh well. If Butler somehow can still actually be good in a year or so I guess then they could make some noise in FA but...that's not a gamble ai would be interested in.
