I don't know, Lip. I really want to like Beasley because he's a great offensive player and seems to always put in max effort, but after his minus 18 last night, a friend of mine told me to focus on his defense so I did tonight. I never realized just how awful he is. Horrible on-ball defense, a complete lack of understanding of proper rotation, and no help defense. He was terrible tonight on D. More reason why he is a prototypical NBA 6th man...instant offense off the bench, but hidden better on defense when matched up against reserves. I just wish Ryan understood that. Watch him closely next game...you'll see,
I'll do that. I thought last night's -18 was strange. Poor defense would help explain it.

Are you kidding me? That's absurd. He's not making his threes the way most of us think he will (although he is at 35% his last 10 games), but he shows a feel for the game far beyond his experience level. Frankly, as much as I love Josh Okogie, I would send him to Iowa before I would send Nowell. His game is clearly broken right now, and he needs minutes to see if he can get anywhere near where he was in college. And he doesn't deserve those minutes with the wolves right now.
