I think they know we have ultimately no chance as long as Curry is out there, thus the polite clap, "good effort, good effort".
I really like how Towns was able to switch out on him and contain. Nice.
Possibly, but they there within 6, get up! (nope, a polite clap, then back to texting)
yeah nice Towns put back and the Curry deny on the other end, he should have been guarding him all night!
Towns was pretty amazing on those switches. Did Curry ever score? I don't think he did. Dieng did a nice job himself once again on those too.

I'm guessing other teams have tried 3-2 zones on GS and hasn't worked either? Or maybe Sammich should have tried putting Wiggy on Steph? Mix it up a little bit.

Towns and Bjelica are our best bigs but they are both rookies who aren't used to playing this many minutes and games. Bjelica especially has been forced to play for long stretches at a time. We have dieng and 12mins a night from kg. We need pek back healthy to get 15-20mins a night.
Dieng wasn't perfect as I saw him have a bad turnover in the 2nd half but I am gonna give him some props here. I would like another PF type in the rotation but I don't know when they would play. Payne has actually looked like he could be the guy (based on his limited minutes thisbyear in a small sample) and he isn't getting minutes either. If Pek ever comes back and can play some effective minutes damn this team will be something to handle.
One more thought on Payne. He must have done something good the past few weeks to move ahead of Rudez who was getting plenty of burn and playing well in preseason. Maybe it's in practice and/or maybe it's him playing solid minutes in real games but yeah it's good to see. Quite frankly I am shocked how competent he has looked. Lol

i think it is not fair actually.. he is recovering from brutal injuries and we do not want to lose him for another season, we play 4games in 5 days, if he is D.Rose or other bro it would be all ok

Wiggins switched on him a couple times and did a nice job. It's not like that's the only guy to stop. You have to guard Klay and you can't go small on Barnes or he will kill you too. Andre actually had a couple good possessions on him it was fun to see the old man competing out there. What I saw of Lavine guarding him he was staying with him about as good as I could expect. Curry is the most dynamic scoring talent in the league right now he went off for 46 and the Wolves had a shot at winning. Not saying that's good defense because the Warriors did their thing but the Wolves did get some stops to make this game interesting and they made Curry work for some of his points. I didn't see most of the first half so I can only saw what I saw obviously.

A sprained ankle that happened over a year ago counts as a brutal injury?

In Lavine's defense, the Warriors are the team that most utilizes and gets away with illegal screens. Green and Bogut cheat a lot by turning and tying up the trailer before they even have a chance to get around the screen. Lavine isn't a slow guy and he was just getting tied up on every pick.

you cannot play zone against such a great 3-pt shooting team, not gonna work

Golden State would kill a zone. And Zach did all he could against Curry. It was good to see that he defended him better as the game went on. It might have been a big eye opener in that first quarter.

Really? Are you certain about that?
