Looking back I couldn't have projected our development any worse than I did. I thought we would have a fast start with our youth and other teams coming in out of shape.

The game has passed me by.

We should compile a list of these over the years... just to laugh at how far most of us overestimated wins EVERY season.

Even me, the eternal optimist.

I opened this thread with past winners (see below, now with Cool's name etched in), but yeah, if you go back and look, these folks are almost always well below the median of the wins prediction thread distribution!

20-21 - Cool
18-19 - Logo
17-18 - Khans2k5
16-17 - Bleedspeed177
15-16 - Kiwi

......and it looks like the Wolves ended the season with just the kind of teasing display of competent basketball to invite some generous win predictions next season. Can Abe and other perennial pessimists (myself included) hold the line against what I think will be a surge in enthusiasm next October?

I repeatedly pick too many wins. It won't happen again. It will NOT.

1 - 81.

Put it in ink for next season. That's my prediction.

Ha! Nope, it would be against Article VII., Section b. of the Wins Prediction Thread Bylaws: "No official predictions can be made until training camp begins."

By then, you will have wilted under the unrelenting optimism of Lip, FNG, and perhaps even 60WinTim dusts off the keyboard to describe new visions of grandeur for our beloved Wolves.

So close. I had too much faith in the Wolves' terribleness, they slightly beat my expectations
