Why am I not seeing the " love for Smart" like most of you. He can't shoot, isn't real quick so how will he score in the NBA?
I like his toughness, but that screams out second round to me.

He defends, rebounds, and scores inside to well. He is a bigger strong version of Derrick Rose in my eyes. His team was awful. He will be better in the NBA.

I think Smart will the best 2 way player in the draft.
Unlikely sixers do that. I dont think they are dumping young. He has good value around the league and they are way below the salary cap that they dont need to dump anyone. They could get good value in return for young. Sixers has the 10th pick as well plus noel for next season. Dont see them wanting 4 rookies. If anything they are actively trying to trade up using both lottery picks 3&10 to secure wiggins.

Derrick Rose was the fastest player in the league. Don't really see the comparison

They both got buckets going to the hole. Smart will too, but is more physical. He is like a shorter Lebron.

I think they most certainly want to trade Young. He has a player option after this year and he doesn't want to be in Philly anymore. Rumors are the Sixers want to trade Young and No. 3 to No. 1 to secure Wiggins. They do not want to use 3/10 to move up to 1. That's from everything I've seen.

Cam, Im not saying philly wont move young. What im saying is they wont 'dump' young for cap purposes or just to rid of him like bleed suggested. Young has good value and they will trade him for a useful player and an nba level player. Looking at the sixers right now, they probably has only 2 legit nba players in young and mcw. So young will be valuable to the sixers and they wont just trade him for the sake of dumping him.

This is a good read. It is Lakers plan A,B, & C. If we traded up to lets say #6. This would work for us. Interesting they make a case for Randle being the 3rd best PF in the draft. I think Rubio could make Gordon look good, but my concern is about him being to finish through contact. He might grow into that. Also very interesting look at Vonlesh vs Randle.

a shorter Lebron? a stronger Rose? So what Smart will be the GOAT?
