DR holds on to win by 5

KAT 20/11/5 7/15 FG, 4/9 from 3. Somehow was a -4, but honestly, the final score doesn't indicate how the game looked most of the night. Italy almost pulled one outta their asses late.

I’m watching the replay now.

So excited for the wolves season. Kat has been so freaking good on making the right basketball play. Let’s go!!!

Spagnolo was solid also in his limited minutes

A decent way to go but if the favorites hold over the next couple of days we are looking at

Ant vs Kat in the first round of the knockouts

Rudy France team is in a battle right now. If France loses, they are out of the tournament

Good to see KAT winning games, regardless of his individual performance. Just get in the habit of winning games where something is on the line and he doesn't foul out or cough the ball up at pivotal moments!

I'm a little surprised SGA doesn't get more love from the national NBA press and punditry. It feels like Ant has been made out as the next face of the NBA, but SGA kind of flies under the radar and he's every bit as effective if not more so.

As far as FIBA is concerned, Canada worries me. They actually have the perimeter defenders to slow Ant and Co. down.

Didn't watch the game, but NAW put up another nice box score. He's making his 3's which is a very, very good sign as that seems to be an on going trend for him.

Dane made this point on twitter. But this DR team is a lot like early day wolves with Kat. There is not much shooting around Kat and teams are loading up on Kat. So Kat needs to make the right play, what he has and hope his team hits their shots. The reason Kat fg% is down is when he puts the ball on the floor 3 people are guarding him leading you poor FG% but he gets fouled a ton. Kat has been so under control this tournament and his presence alone has been amazing for the DR. So much impact then the stat sheet and the stat sheet has been good!

Shout out to the DR PG feliz who has been great though 2 games and has really relieved some of the load Kat has

Nando De Colo tossed. Things getting tight for France.
