Newell worked out for the Wolves. If they like how his shot looks I could see him as the pick
Newell gets punked too many times for me to support him here,

And he’ll never be a 5.

Wow, 16th pick is Hansen Yang. Both Beringer and Fleming are there for the taking.

He is a proud Georgia kid that decided to stay at Georgia instead of going to a bigger college to bring prestige to the team. Ant was the exact same, not wanting to leave Georgia. They more than likely have a lot in common. He's a good defender, good on the offensive glass, and cleaning up on lobs.

If TC really wanted Sorber, I think he would have traded up to #14 with the Spurs. TC is too plugged in not to know OKC was going to take Sorber. So I’m thinking TC had at least one other player he likes as much or better than Sorber. This is the point in the draft where I trust TC completely. He knows what others are doing. For example, he would never trade up for Garland without knowing he could get him.

So I’m thinking there’s still a player on the board TC really likes, which is why TC hasn’t’ traded down yet. I don’t see the Wizards (18), Heat (20), or Jazz (21) interesting in drafting a big except for Fleming as a mobile 3-point shooting PF.

Fascinating pick by Portland. I like Yang. Excellent length and very good court passer. He had very good stats too, but I just couldn’t gage his level of competition.

So here we are. We have choice: Beringer, Fleming, Raynaud, and a non-big - Clifford. Who would you pick?
