That's pathetic. Time to start working Joan in occasionally

taking a center to one day replace Rudy was sound.

Taking 2 centers might be wise in the long run.

Taking 2 centers who can't help you today is really gonna hurt in the short term.

Maybe just 8-10 minutes a night.

Abe's I wish this state had one pro sports team that isn't currently shi$$ing the bed DVR Review:

- Dillingham was really trying to facilitate early. He wasn't really looking for his shot... just trying to create for others. I assume it's being drilled into him constantly. It was easily his best game, which is relative. But hey, at least there were highlights. Good for the kid. Hopefully, he starts gaining confidence.

- Reaves is the Lakers 3rd best offensive player. He's averaging 34/7/10 on the season. And he only makes $14M annually. He didn't shoot it great... but who cares. Once again, the Wolves couldn't keep a ball dominant guard out of the paint. He carved them up with his passing AFTER he easily got into the point.

- The Wolves pathetic showing in the 3rd quarter cost them this game. I think it was four straight possessions where they shot it without passing more than once in the frontcourt. Meanwhile, the Lakers were getting wide open looks from ball movement on the other end. Selfish Wolves basketball. Reid was the primary culprit.

- The Lakers have made a lot of contested midrange shots. Teams are playing with a lot of confidence vs. MN right now on offense.

- The Lakers are punishing the Wolves undersized PGs. Why do they have three undersized guys at that spot when the entire league is leaving them behind?

- At one point... I was thinking how many net negative players are in the rotation for the Timberwolves. Conley. Reid. Shannon. Bones. Dillingham. And then you have a guy like Gobert who's a negative on one end.

- The point of attack defense has been atrocious. Good to see McDaniels scoring... because I don't know how much longer he's getting away with "great defender" status. Good players continue to carve up the Timberwolves. And McDaniels hasn't done nearly enough to thwart it this season.

- The Wolves missed three dunks. And Conley had a wide open layup, on his way up to the rim, he passes out to a guy behind the arc. And then Shannon had a potential dunk and he tried to drop it to Gobert while in the air. That's 10 points potentially.

- Good crafty active hands by Conley in this one.

- The Wolves got back into the game with 100% shooting (9 - 9 fg) and zone defense. Neither one is sustainable.

- Everyone in the arena and at home knew Reaves was getting the ball. And yet he still got into the paint for the game winner.

Rudy cost us that game with a terrible defensive read at the end. What the hell was he doing?

I couldn't believe he was that far up court

I genuinely believe that Connelly keeps looking for a do over on Mitchell considering he drafted him and then traded him on draft night. He wants his 6'1'' bucket getter, whereas Finch doesn't care if you score as long as you're tall for your position and can defend (which is why he loves Clark so much)

I mean he didn’t even switch onto Reeves, he was guarding thin air, leaving McDaniels trying to fight through Aytons screen. That was pathetic form a four time defensive player of the year!

Finch said postgame that the plan was not to switch. Said he regretted not doing a full switch there. Bad strategy by finch, bad hedge by Rudy and bad getting over the screen by Jaden

Finch would have to be the worst clutch time play caller in the league. Even then Gobert hedged way too high. McDaniels isn’t too blame, it was a good screen by Ayton. That’s when you should switch.
