Jaden now out for Saturdays game. Hope the knee isn't worse than we thought.

Yeah, just saw that. He said post game that he wouid be fine for the pistons game, so it’s clearly worse than he thought.

If Ayo and Ant are both available, do we go small and start both? Or do we go big with Naz at small forward?

Looks like ANT is already OUT for tomorrow. Ayo is questionable. My guess is Mike starts again and Ayo replaces Jaden. But it could be Shannon? Kyle? Lots of possibilities!

Feels like we should sit Rudy just to make sure he doesn't pick up a flagrant foul with the way Detroit plays and likes to get into fights.

So many names on the injury list! Cade is out of course, and now Isaiah Stewart is too. And Duran, Harris and Thompson are questionable, and I don't know about Duncan Robinson. The Pistons have a 4 1/2 game lead on the Celtics, so there's no reason for them to play guys who are nicked up. I'm also not so sure the Wolves are 100% in on finishing 5th rather than 6th, so resting Ant, Jaden and Ayo makes sense. Could be a weird game!

NAZ fined 50K for "questioning the integrity of game officials". The camera only caught him saying "he was moving" just before Foster called the tech. So, he either said something before that. Or maybe ANT said something that Foster thought came from NAZ? That's a pretty step fine. It would be nice to know what Foster thought he heard...

That means he will have 8 games left, to play 7, in order to be eligible for all-nba.

Foster is a weird guy and a horrible ref, but I agree there has to be more than the "he was moving". I wonder if we'll ever find out what actually happened.

The NBA fines are a joke too. Yes, $50,000 sounds like a lot, but it's only .2% of Nazreon's annual salary. Put in a perspective mere mortals like us can understand, that's like a guy making $75K getting a $150 speeding ticket...enough to piss us off a little, but not much in the grand scheme of things.

I'm still nerding out about the end of the Rockets game, and continuing to learn things I hadn't noticed...both involve Donte and Kyle. We all loved Donte's 3-pointer to tie the game with a minute left, but I hadn't noticed Kyle's role. He brings the ball up the court, and as he does, he motions to Donte exactly where he wants him to go to get open for the shot. He doesn't seem to worry about showing Houston the play they are going to run, maybe because he is confident he can set a screen to get Donte open. And that's what happens! He bounces a pass to Julius as Donte makes a big circle around Kyle's excellent screen (well, if I'm a Rockets fan, I am pissed off about a moving screen!), and Ju hands the ball back to a now wide-open Donte who doesn't miss. Perfect play!

I've also raved about Donte joining Kyle in doubling KD so he couldn't receive the inbound pass at the end of the game. Again though, it was Kyle yelling at Donte and motioning to leave the inbounding Thompson alone and double KD. And again it worked perfectly.

We all know Kyle's offensive limitations, but when he's out there, it's like having a coach on the court...on offense and defense. Go back and re-watch these two plays if you have time. We probably don't win this game without SloMo.
