Okay - Just checking. I try to see it from both sides knowing that people's experiences impact their perception. I think humanity will always struggle because no matter how civil we pretend to be we are just animals at the core.

Okay - Just checking. I try to see it from both sides knowing that people's experiences impact their perception. I think humanity will always struggle because no matter how civil we pretend to be we are just animals at the core.

Perceptions. Preferences. Et al.

All that's good. Life would be boring if everybody agreed. The key is to be honest about them and open to listening to others... it's really a great way to learn and evolve.

Anyone else notice the protesting/riots in France over the vaccines? Does anyone think that will happen here?

It interesting how some people this is a big deal and others a nothing. I am in the camp of thinking everyone should
get the vaccine outside of children at this point, but don't think we should mandate it. In all transparency I have not been following the data, but think you will keep seeing variants and spreading like other virus's moving forward. We likely will have flu look annual shots etc. I just want to see the reaction to be linear to the data and at this point the CDC has basically lost my trust and seems to be crying for continued relevance.

At some point... if people don't want to get the vaccine (even if it puts them at risk)... what can you do? Shutting things down again to try to convince people dead-set against it seems like it's going to create more discord, disgust and distrust.

From what I've read, those dying are largely NOT the ones vaccinated.

Sometimes, you can't save people from themselves. Give one more push/plea effort. Make it earnest. And if people still refuse to be vaccinated at this point... so be it. Unfortunately, the data suggests they'll be the ones affected most.

A new variant will emerge each time people's fears begin to diminish. The fear mongering will continue in order to maintain control, and will last at least through the mid-term elections. It's harder to cheat if you can't force mail-in balloting. Not impossible mind you, there will be several strategies in place just like last year. But the fabrication of mail-in ballots was definitely one of the most effective.

Lockdowns will be pretty hard without the emergency powers of governors. I do think people are at the point where a far majority don't buy what is being sold to them on the virus front. It is interesting how the media is trying to keep it relevant.

I think wolf has been cried too many times and people have educated themselves on it. Even the uber cautious people I know have just moved forward with life post-vaccination. The neighbors that wouldn't let their kids out of the house went boating with us last week.

It is interesting how employers are treating it. My wife's company requires you to upload a vaccination card to be approved for travel. They are not letting unvaccinated people go to sales QBR's. It is certainly is interesting and wonder if this will impact the school because they certainly used their heavy political clout to impact things last year.

The vaccinated vs unvaccinated thing is so odd to me. It is mostly people that are vaccinated that seem to be the most concerned. I honestly stopped caring once I was vaccinated.
