Vikings 2018 Regular Season Game Thread
Re: Vikings 2018 Regular Season Game Thread
Reiff out so we are looking at Hill at LT and O'Neill at RT and the backup tackle if someone gets hurt? Remmers I guess. There isn't really another backup tackle on the roster but I would assume someone else is getting some snaps there just in case.
Sendejo is out so will it be Iloka starting at Safety or someone else? I'd guess its Iloka but wouldn't be shocked if its someone else.
Shelels is back practicing. At least I'll be less nervous during punt returns.

Do the Vikings have a reasonable beef with Cook seeings as he's not complete healthy from last years injury? He chose to rehabilitate on his own back home in Florida over the offseason. Seems to me he would have gotten the best care possible provided by his employee and stood a better chance of being back 100% at the start of the season.

His knee is fine it's hamstring injury that's the problem. He came back basically ahead of schedule from the knee so I don't think there are any issues.

Yeah, not giving Cousins much of a chance. We are running the football well though today.
My god, Thielen is an incredible receiver...on his way to yet another 100 yard day.

Has there ever been an undrafted player as good as Thielen? Seriously, he's like one of the best receivers in the NFL right now.

John Randle comes to mind!

Randle is better but Priest Holmes immediately came to mind. How about Kurt Warner? Fun info Warner's son Kody is a walk on at Nebraska (JD Spielman is on his way to re-writing the Husker Reciever record books) and has ended up getting playing time including starts over much much more highly recruited players. Anyway Thielen has been incredible and it's not like Diggs who was a 5th round guy is a slouch. Pretty amazing that duo. Treadwell has a nice day also.

Another week another win?
We can get 3 in a row with a win this week. I think we will be fine in this one. No Packer hangover or losing Griffin to deal with. We need Alexander and company to step up with Hughes out for the year though. Who will it be?

I thought Alexander actually had a pretty good game or for sure something to build off of Sunday. Yeah he had those 2 penalties but he was right there. It would be nice to see him finally get it. I was getting close to giving up on him being anything before that game. It was encouraging and like you said we need someone to step up.
Also I see Craig James was signed to the PS. I was impressed with what i saw from him in preseason. He was hurt so that's why he was let go at cuts...not to mention the depth of the roster. I thought he would be a lock for the PS before I realized he was injured.
