It's fun that this league can still surprise us right? :) I didn't watch the game but it's kinda funny and surprising in general that neither of these high scoring teams didn't even make it to 100 points. I didn't see that part coming although it shouldn't be that surprising both teams can really defend.

Golden State pissed this one away. Shot 3 - 19 in the 4th... a combination of hard-nosed D from Houston and GSW taking shitty shots.

There was one possession in particular when Houston got two straight offensive rebounds through pure hustle, then Harden nearly lost it out of bounds but Looney couldn't grab it, then they hit a 3.

Houston just isn't fun to watch. But they play hard. And even though Chris Paul is super cheap and seems like a miserable person... he saved their season tonight. Harden took a backseat and Paul took over.

Thanks for the report Abe. I didn't see the game last night but from what I have seen in this series from Paul he seems to have toned down his threatrics but maybe I have missed some stuff.

He and Harden push off CONSTANTLY. But they're both so damn crafty with it. For example, Paul uses his shoulder but doesn't extend his arm and then almost uses the momentum from bouncing off the defender to get even more space.

Would be a pain in the arse to play against. And frustrating. But damn... he's super crafty.

Even if he's still an asshole.

You have to give it to the Rockets though, they got shooters, defenders, and targeted smart (cheap), crafty (cheap) superstars. Not a bad way to build a team.

Fun game I started watching from the 2nd half on. It was up and down but physical and plenty of defense. That Shimmy from CP3 after that prayer of a 3 over Curry was awesome and Curry looked like he was laughing. :)

Also PJ Tucker has been huge for the Rockets. They have played without Ryan anderson and the last 2games without Luc and Tucker is a big reason why. Also Gerald Green has given them enough to be worthwhile.

Someone might want to tell Harden he has teammates.

Wow, LeBron's team mates are a bunch of chokers. No way can they beat Houston or Golden State, even if they did get past Boston.

Didn't know Baynes was so good guarding on the perimeter until I started watching the playoffs. He has a great combination of bulk and quick feet, kind of like Tristian Thompson. We could DESPERATELY use a big man like that!

Green is very much an enigma, like Wiggins has been to date. You can see the natural fluidity and talent, but he's just never been able to put it all together and reach his full potential. I think Wiggins ends up with the better career, but there are similarities there...

Low scoring first half with lots of missed 3's. Tired legs. It's weird how when the NBA playoffs start, it feels like there are vast stretches of time between games, but now late in the playoffs these guys are playing every other day.
