Pitching for the Twins is like Field goal kicking for the Vikes. How else would you explain it.

Idk that Arraez throw to first was more like a wide left kick...

Ya the twins had that game won like 5 times. They made 2 back to back errors. Not sure how that is all the pitching fault

Awful west coast road trip. But at least a little buzz for this team coming home with a couple prospects coming up and perhaps in the starting lineup tonight. Kirilloff comes up to replace Sano's .111 average at first base...,hopefully for a long time. And Nick Gordon maybe gets the start at 2b with Simmons still on the Covid list. Kepler's also out with Covid, and even though he's not hitting this spring, I'd rather have his bat in the lineup than Cave's .122.
It's time to turn this season around.

Something to keep you from crying yourself to sleep at night when Sano does get back to the lineup at some point...his OBP is now at .310 and he is on pace for over 130 walks. Cave is another streaky guy and right now that's the glimmer of hope that he finds something because it's certainly not going well now. I'm excited to see these younger players. I'm somewhat oddly REALLY pulling for Nick Gordon to do well.

Well hopefully yesterday's game is a sign of things to com with some guys like Garver getting on track. Buxton is just unbelievable right now.

Games like last night are why the Twins are well under .500 but they have been making some headway into moving into a spot where they have a chance at the division.
After a slow start AK has started hitting and that Buxton guy is unbelievable.

Yeah, another frustrating unforgivable loss last night...how many more games will the back end of our bullpen blow?
A quick clarification on AK. He did have a slow start in terms of results, but if you watched his 0-16 (or something like that) start, he was hitting the ball as hard as anyone on the team other than Buck and Cruz. He was really stinging it, but I've never seen a hitter have a bad streak of luck like that. It's like he figured out "hmm...if I hit the ball over or off the fence, the other team can't catch it!" This guy really looks like something special! Unfortunately, Reusse now reports AK's wrist injury likely will keep him out for weeks, just as Arraez goes into the concussion protocol for a week. But never fear...Miguel Sano returns this week to solve any potential offensive woes.

FWIW I only watch extended highlights.
That sucks he was really rolling. Like I've said before idk what other teams have dealt with this year but it feels like the Twins have had a lot of guys missing due to injury/illness. I guess their starters have been healthy so that's significant.
I wonder what it will take for them to give a guy like Larnach a shot.

Buxton is out for a while but at least Larnach is coming up. Nick Gordon got his first major League hit and had 2 stolen bases.
The Royals are in a free fall and the Twins are holding within striking distance despite a couple disappointing loses this week.
